Ginza line makes me feel nostalgic. Back in November 2019, I and my college friends were visiting Tokyo for student tour. Because we were staying at Asakusa area, we use Ginza line regularly and stop at Tawaramachi Station. I hope after pandemic is over, I can have a chance to visit Japan again, especially Tokyo.

I just busted out laughing and got a little overrun with emotion when I heard the Ueno station jingle since I stayed around there (Oak Hotel) during a couple trips to Tokyo and that was my stop whenever I was done exploring. I miss you Japan! I will be back. ❤️

Ueno track 2 gives me so much nostalgia, I would always have to transfer to the Hibya line to go north. Reminds me of the crowded night rush hour. 😅

Asakusa was the first station we aimed for on the first day of my first time in Japan with two friends way back in Feb 2018. Since then, whenever I visit Tokyo or take my family/friends, it's always been the first stop of day 1 for blessings and whatnot. My family went there last March 2020 and it was sad to see the stalls and restos closed :( Asakusa needs the crowds and noise to make it what it's known for, and it was a lonely temple last year.

@tatsu stimulus, I am from the UK and was really interested when I found out about the train melodies shortly before my first ever trip to Japan/Tokyo in February. I absolutely loved hearing them while I was there! I wish more countries would adopt this idea. I can't wait to return to Japan, but in the meantime, videos like this are great (I came home with a slight Japanese train obsession). Thank you, @take way!
