With the power issues mostly solved it is time turn my attention to the rapidly rising temperature in the base and finding a way to prevent slowly cooking myself to death.

You can now pause the game while on the laptop, button is in the top right of the laptop screen, for time stress free scripting.

I drive as a sub for my local small school bus company. Two most recent buses we’ve put on the on-spots. Haven’t needed them yet this year. Last year though I pulled out one of our buses twice, and another bus co that got stuck just past my driveway too. We don’t often need them but when we do they’re going to be huge time savers. A stuck school bus turns into quite the gong show in short order. Many years ago I drove a dump truck with them, and boy were they great. I don’t want to have to flip that switch on one of our buses but I’m really glad it’s there for when I’ll need it, instead of “Welp….hold on kids might get a bit western!”

Lets GOOO another upload!! I started a similar run on vulcan. Im a bit behind since i dont have any alloys yet. But the basics are all setup. I want to do a run without any AC's, filters, or magical plants. The phase change stuff is game changing. Really excited to dive in!

I use the AC for heat regulation the real cooling will come from phase change.

as always, thanks for the many series youve done mick. my favorite "beer and couch time" content. one thing i'm curious about, the drain you added to the CO2 filtration intake. i assume that is to get rid of condensate ? why doesn't the CO2 condense on the other side of the filter as well ? or is it one of the other gases that condenses that you are getting rid of ? and even more puzzling to me, was putting the face of the drain inside the frame ? is that some kind of known cheese ??? thanks for a response.

Start with simple switching code then move up from there. If you try to start with the big jobs you are working the hard way.

Can you boil water, and use the steam to create pressure and drive a turbine of some sort, and let the steam evaporate to liquid and do the cycle over again? That would be a good power solution in a hot atmosphere. Don't know if it's possible, played a long time ago.

How does that cooling system work? I don't understand it. Can I have a brief explanation of the concept?

The AC unit is transferring the heat (or rather energy) from the room to CO2 tank below. The tank is filled with CO2 from atmosphere at night. The amount of gas in the tank currently is much more than the amount in the room (Mick barely vented the O2 tank in the ep. 1 to fill some oxygen a little), so the same amount of energy transferred from the room to the tank will cool down the room more then heat up the tank. That is why Mick is not calling this system as "cooling" but rather "temperature controlling". Because the heat is still there - it is in the CO2 tank and he needs to pull the CO2 from this tank for the plants in the future. So, the real task is how to cool CO2 in the tank. Hope this helps.

Pressure differnce between inputs and outputs will determine speed.

How do you put things away quickly, like at 26:44 ? Your menu selector (moved by mouse wheel) is at thrust up, so it couldn't be just pressing F You also complained about falling down while working outside, why don't you increase the thrust of jetpack then? It won't make you faster, it just make you accelerate and stop faster or allow to carry crates without losing altitude What kind of mods are you using?

Double tapping F will put things into any empty slot in your storage. moda are network painter and infinite paint.
