After repeated failures to get a recording with both my microphone and the game audio, I think I've got it sorted out. So, this will be an introduction to the playthrough I'll be restarting (yet again).
This will take place on the TauCeti world available on the Steam Workshop. I've modified the starting conditions to suit my playstyle, while trying to keep with the intended challenges (but throwing my own additional ones in). This world has some unique challenges that make it a welcome addition.
I do have a couple other mods running, namely the Actual Solar Irradiance mod which removes the artificial limit they imposed on solar panels a few patches ago. This means Vulcan will have it's approximate 1.5x Earth solar and TauCeti works out to something like 2x Earth.
Other mods are for quality of life - the network painter that speeds up painting and render distance that removes the artificial restrictions on sight.
