Yeah the mkII tools are a bit slower. A tradeoff for not melting I guess lol. Jetpack consumption is based on moles. So if you pack more in a colder bottle to reduce the pressure it'll last longer. It will also output the exact temp of what's in the bottle, certainly something to be mindful of if you intend to use it inside. It has little flamey animation but really its just opening the bottle you put on your back and directing it.

It is based on moles? Cool. Thanks for letting me know! :) I had the idea of making an icy cold gas tank purely for propellant, but I've never had the time to fiddle around testing it.

I have a problem with terrain updating too, especially while flying around in a hardsuit jetpack and mining. What helps is when it starts happening I turn the jetpack off, land nearby, give it some 5-count to let the nearby terrain generate and that solves the problem temporarily. Guess my cpu just does not cope with terrain generation at hardsuit jepack flying speeds, meanwhile chunks that are already modified - and thus saved to the file - loads fine at way greater distance. Almost feels the game just does not save the chunks that were generated before but never modified

I'm so glad that I'm not the only person having terrain difficulties. I was beginning to think there was something wrong with my PC. My CPU is a bit old now and I'll be getting a new one fairly soon, so we'll see what the difference is.

Nice, Curious to know what was your game time to generate water. I am wondering if this is faster than looking for a trader who sells water. Edit: nvm

I'm pretty sure the trader is faster. Much faster. But I explain in the series why I don't use that method. As for game time, it was about 2 hours and 40 minutes. I haven't edited any of my game play so it was easy to figure out. Looking back at all my mistakes, and the times I unnecessarily spent extra time on things, I think it's doable in under 2 hours.

What fixes the terrain updating problem is saving the game, exiting and loading it again I think.

That doesn't work for me. Quite the opposite actually. Sometimes I'll load up a game and pause it. Then come back 30min later and the terrain updating works fine. Maybe it depends on the machine you're using?

I'm wondering why you have such an issue with terrain updating, I had that issue once or twice before with my old PC ( 4790k 16gb 1080gtx sata ssd) but it was very rare. Since building my new comp ( 10700k 32gb 1080gtx m.2 2tb 3.0) it has never happened. I'm thinking it might only be an issue for under performing pcs but I'm not sure. I mine a Lot... and I wouldn't be able to tolerate that.

You're right. It could very well be my computer. My processor is a little old now and this game seems to be very processor heavy. lol time to upgrade!

Можно заполнять сжигатель водорода водородом и добавлять малое количество кислорода, чтобы не происходило воспламенения, тогда в ёмкости будет только вода, без токсинов и углекислого газа. Так же охлаждение в вакууме скоро уберут т.к. оно не соответствует реальности, для охлаждения атмосферы лучше использовать переносной кондиционер на старте выживания т.к. это более честно.
