Hi, as always a great video. I would be interested to know how diversified you can make a trend following portfolio with 100k. (with minis and micros) Andreas Clenov says you would need more like 1 million dollars to build a trend following portfolio that is diversified enough, but that shouldn't apply to micros and minis?

Cleanow book was before micros. Still Micros are not enough today to build a diversified portfolio. TF needs many markets to work (+50), the more the better the chance to catch trends. Less markets means luck (selecting which markets to trade) will play a big role in catching trends. Without getting in deep, a $1M account usually use $350K only to trade.

@@StatOasis Many thanks for the quick reply! I hope there will be more markets than Mini in the future. So with a small portfolio (100k) would you rather trade MR strategies? Or a combination of trend following and MR?

Hi Ali. Hope you are well. Usually, I consider the breakouts I see in mfi as an entry signal, but I need some more filters to avoid the wrong signals that the breakout gives me in the indicator, and as a result, I have safer entries. Do you have any experience about this or do you have any advice for me?

You are on the right track, most strategies will benefit from filters. Start with volatility and direction they have the highest probability of success
