I was 14 in 1973. A mate from down the road and I caught the train into Brisbane city to see our first concert August 1, 1973. Status Quo. We were about 5 rows from the front left of center. Couldn't believe how loud it was, or the number of hot girls there. I was trance like watching Rick Parfitt, who at the time was the coolest dude on the planet in my eyes. He was wearing a red coca cola t-shirt and faded blue jeans....and his long hair was more blonde that usual. I spent the next 10 years trying to look like Parfitt.

Rest In Peace blond Rick Parfitt!! I love this live version since the first time I heard it as a kid 40 years ago! Sheer energy and boogie fun. I first thought this video was recorded live, because the sound is identical in every detail. HOWEVER, as somebody argued: it looks like playback, because there is no audience to be seen. And I guess he is right: if it would have been live, for sure they would have shown the rocking audience. Too bad, would have loved to be there when they played. Just listened to it again at the Dutch Top2000 - what an energy is in this song.
