Staurogyne Repens Carpet (No Co2) --- 6 Days Impressive Growth!

We show a time lapse of Day 1 to Day 6 of S Repens (Staurogyne Repens) carpet without co2, in our low tech tank.
We do not run any CO2 in our low tech tank, and no Excel. We do dose fertilizers, details in the video.
We also try:
- S Repens in Low Light
- S Repens in Sand Substrate
Overall, S Repens is an easy carpeting aquarium plant (classified easy by Tropica), and is very suitable for a low tech no CO2 aquarium.

S repens are one of the best carpeting plants. We can also cover up the bases of background plants using repens

You got an update? I bought some tissue culture from a really good seller, but I'm worried. Unsure if i should get more. I like it a lot, but my substrate is eco complete 😅. I mainly dose the water with seachem flourish. No Co2. It's day 2, and i swear it looks more dense. I also put some pearlweed as well. You think my repens will be good?

Unfortunately, S Repens did not do quite well in my low tech tank over the long term! Dwarf Sag carpet worked better in my tank.

Just wondering if that is a ball of a moss at the background? What is it for? Tnx

Thanks for watching! It is mainly for decoration, haha. Sometimes the shrimp like to graze on it a little, it doesn’t seem to harm the moss ball though.
