10 years ago I was too young to realize the movie, after I graduated and start to work, the movie hits harder and deeper than I imagined. Sometimes, It took me a while to realize life is not all about work, the world is big yet beautiful. To see and explore it, so I arranged a trip to Japan with friends and slow myself down and reset the mind from all the pain and troubles. After coming back, I quit my job and start to fulfill my life goal of living in Japan after i have set this goal for more than 10 years. I can’t hold my tears watching this movie, and I was impressed by the skateboarding scene in the movie. Thanks for giving me the courage to face all the new challenges in my life.

i found this movie a few years ago in a not so good spot in my life. and watching it along with "into the wild" had an effect on me i still dont quite understand. All i know is that i was on my way out the door when i watched walter mitty, and that movie showed me a new way to look at life. so thanks to be stiller and that crew, because without them, i would not be here.

I have some facts that might be true and little do you guys know, Walter works in magazine company called "Life". He's dying there because no one ever put attention to him and don't have anything to do there except just take care of the pictures. And the boss told him that he's fired if he didn't get the last / 25th picture of Sean (called it as Wake up call, we will get there at some point). And later he have enough gut and courage to stand up do some activity nor adventure to keep him feel alive. And in the end he finally got what he achieved for, the 25th picture and accomplish his mission. And the last title for the magazine is "Dedicated to the People Who Made It" and the magazine company where he work named "LIFE", so if we connect all of it, it is Walter achieve his point "LIFE" because he dedicated his life into it. Im sorry if you guys confused, english is not my main language. But i believe you know what im saying. LIFE *Dedicated to the People Who Made It* He reached LIFE with giving everything he have into it, no matter what it takes, he just go on and never scared to take any steps further.

I use this film to teach with every year and have since it has come out (my ninth graders love it). A parent of two former students stopped me a few weeks ago and told me that during family movie night her sons, whom I taught, picked this film and explained what they learned about culture, identity, inclusivity, societal norms, and how it’s okay to figure out who you are and be that person. She thanked me, and now I thank you for helping all of my students over these many years learn valuable lessons about becoming their own hero, being just who they are, thinking outside of the box, and taking the leaps and risks which help us to grow. We appreciate the effort and consideration which was put into this work.

3 years ago i remember i was just in my moms car waiting for her to come and i was playing music and i hit the next button and i heard this song back then i really didnt have any friends because they thought i was weird and i just wanted to give up but when i heard this song it was like it was talking to me and telling me to not give up and now i have many freinds. This is my favorite and, in my opinion, one of the most underrated movies of all time. Whenever life feels like it’s too much, I’m feeling lost, or just need a sense of inspiration I turn to this movie or this video. Always makes me realize life is beautiful. Back in 2014 i went through a pretty bad break-up, so i said fuck it and bought a ticket to Tokyo. My first trip overseas and also alone, funnily enough this movie was on the in-flight entertainment selections in the way there. The movie hit so close to home and it made me fall in love with traveling. 10 years since and I've been to so many countries and still so many more to go. The world is too big for our small problems to bother us, go out, explore, and find yourself.

The secret life of walter mitty isnt the kind of movie that would get 10 Oscars. It's not the best story i ever heard, it doesnt have the best actors ever, nor the best music of all time. Nevertheless, it's hands down one of my favorite movies. It is one of the very few movies i can watch knowing it will put a smile on my face.
