It's pointless to convince MAGA people about the reality of Trump. MAGA is a full-blown Cult. Cults start with a charismatic leader who has ideals that appeal to idealistic people. The leader creates a common enemy that he alone has the ability to vanquish. People are captivated by catchphrases and memes and undergo Thought Reform. Once emotionally invested, they will believe anything the leader says, and a divide is created between Us and Them. They will do anything the leader tells them to do. It's impossible to get through to them with facts or logic. My dreams are coming to pass. I fell into a pond scum swamp. My thoughts were frightening of what was in there. Christ said don’t look to the left or right keep swimming straight ahead. Jesus pulled me out. I wanted to look back but asked him first. It was the bluest waters with folks still dressed . Thousands jumping in. I turn back and wondered. I wanted to look again. Again God gave me permission to look. And it was a dried up pit of nothing. Gone! As you said Dutch, focus only on Christ while in this mess. God will lift us up and out. Many will be jumping into revival while it’s there for a time and season. Then the peace will be over.
