At 18:50, when he said that he really wanted to say how much he missed Shawols, i cried once again. From the scandal, to jonghyun's death, to coming back but never really felt the old Onew, to his military service. Years have passed. I think, now is the only time that he will be really back as the Onew I knew ten years ago. I am looking forward to it!

that first part touched me so much, not only is Onew my "favorite" member of SHINee (how could you ever pick a favorite really) but hearing his voice when he sings and seeing his smile is what helped me cope with some major problems. after i was diagnosed with Depression and dropped out of College for not believing in myself and not seeing past the darkness inside i was low. real low. and at the time i couldn't afford any medication and i didn't have a job because when you're as short as i am people tend to look you over and its hard to get a job. it was around the time i started to feel like giving up that a friend introduced me to the "I AM" SM town concert DVD. immediately SHINee was all that captivated me. i began to use their music as an anchor. and the moment i saw Onew's smile i knew... everything would be okay. i dont know exactly how he did it. but his smile was all i needed to help shine a light in my darkness. i hope when he is feeling down during this time, i hope maybe he can come across this and see how much he did for me by just being himself. i love him so much, he is my favorite forever in all of Kpop and i just want him to be able to be strong, i hope his fans can help him to be strong. just like he helped me and probably so many others. love you Onew, Saranghae. our leader forever

I have became a shawol few months ago, and I should say that I'm really new to Shinee. I left kpop due to school matters but it was Shinee that pulled me back. I've watched videos of them years ago up to now to catch up and I must say, I am finally home. I am now in the group that made me feel home. They made me fell in love with every single one of them, however, Onew made me fell harder with him. ☺️ They aren't only a group but a family. I'm glad you made this video, I've always loved your videos and I've been waiting for your return❤️ As to our dubu leader, I feel that this was just a very unfortunate event since I honestly think he hasn't been drinking and the fact that he drank this time because he was out to celebrate with friends, was probably an exception he made, but went wrong. My heart hurts and I've been feeling empty but the most I can do is stay and wait for the rainbow to shine after the storm💕

We all have lessons that we need to learn while we are here. Being an idol in a culture where idol worship can be extreme is hard. You are living under a microscope of everyone's opinions and judgements of you. But we are all human beings and we will all learn our lessons (I don't see them as mistakes but lessons, life lessons), whether we are idols or not. It is so very honourable and humble to hold all of one's burdens inside, refusing to allow others to take the weight, and choosing to be dependable and reliable to others. However, people who go down this journey can eventually find that they are tested through a time when they must lean on others for support. Onew is a leader who has always lead by being on equal ground with his team. Now, he will also need to learn by following. But we all support you, Onew, in what is a very difficult and challenging time. If his choice is to quit alcohol, it is a trying journey, the hardest part of which can be unearthing and detangling inner struggles that had previously stayed so neatly bundled up. I wonder if SHINee will consider quitting drinking with Onew...at least until he is in a better place? When one decides that drinking is no longer their chosen lifestyle, it can be very hard to stay true to course when your friends and closest loved ones drink. All in all, Onew is still a great leader - part of leading is knowing when to stop, and take a time-out to breathe. Take good care of yourself, Onew - we all care for and respect you!

Come to think of it, the saying: "This to shall pass" , very much describes what will happen now I think. Seeing all the comments, all the tributes in videos like this one (the best one in my opinion) SHINee will not just withstand this situation they will more likely come out stronger, due that they havnt been in these kind of situations before (or am I missing something?). Thinking about all the heat surrounding Big Bang and how they have made it through, SHINee will pull through this as well. I sincerely hope and believe that the other members will -at least for a little while- take care of their leader. None of them wants SHINee to disband, all of them are saying they are family and... in particular Jonghyun has many times said that Onew is a fragile person. I think Onew needs them more right now than anything else. It must be difficult for all of them but something tells me that it will be Minho who steps up the most; thats how he is just like his hyung. None of these guys are flawless and thank goodness. Not much fun seeing perfect people; often the most boring personalities in the world.
