Staying at the worlds highest hotel | J hotel at the top Shanghai tower

Only opening on 19th June 2021, The J hotel is located at the top of the Shanghai tower, making it the highest hotel in the world. I had the chance to spend a night here, and let me tell you, it really was an experience I will never forget. The lobby, located on the 101st floor, also being a record breaking height, had breath taking panoramic views of Shanghai, including the iconic Bund.

Pity it was a cloudy day. I imagine you could have seen the Great Wall of China from your hotel on a clear day.

Honestly 600 for this room is insanity. Edit : atleast compared to luxury hotels in the US and Europe. But it is China after all.

I'd say 600 at the most expensive building in Shanghai is fair. Also if you pay by points it cost like 300$. Sure lots of better value hotel in Shanghai.
