It's so inspiring and refreshing to see a women enjoy going out and doing things alone. Being with friends is great, don't get me wrong, but it's also so peaceful to enjoy things on your own once in a while. I feared I'd be lonely or get bored but have found that's not the case, after being inspired by you to give it a try! I also love how you slow down and enjoy the little things. Thank you for sharing your life with us!

I used to always wait to do things with people. I was always the one working around everyone else's oh-so-busy schedule. Years ago, there was some movie I wanted to see. I can't even remember what movie it was. After going around & around with people trying to be fit into their schedule, we waited so long that the movie was no longer playing in theaters. After that day, I never waited for people again. If it's something I really want to do, I do it. I'll sometimes let friends know in case they want to join me. But I'm not going to wait around forever and miss things just because people are "too busy." If I want to do something, do it.

@@Yesica1993 I had a situation exactly like this, I echo your words. If we wait around we will never do or go anywhere! Sometimes I feel anxious on my own in coffee shops etc but I realise I need to find the right spaces and over time, keep getting comfortable in my own skin. I enjoy being alone though!

I have been watching since April of this year,I had just lost my 33 year old son to a horrible gun accident,and was looking for something calming to watch,and I stumbled across your vlog,and I have been watching ever since. Nami is one of many living alone content creators that inspire me to live alone. and now that I am actually living on my own, it feels great! I do whatever I want by myself, learn how to cook simple food, learn how to install my own cabinets on my own and more. it's such a great journey and I'm enjoying it. I do lots of things by myself and I never get bored of it.

At 69 I've learned a lot from watching your videos . They have inspired me to reorganise our little flat and I've used your storage ideas a lot. It makes daily life much easier with everything close to hand . Also I have had some cooking tips although I'm not a great fan of cooking like you. Your Vlog is also an insight into Japanese culture which is very interesting. I'm glad that you feel connected even living in a big city alone by doing this, it means the pleasure goes both ways ! 🙂

i was extremely bored after finishing my final project when I remembered that I wanted to go for an ice cream, it felt strange the idea of going alone but I remembered how you go and explore new places and I decided to go by myself for an ice cream and a nice walk. It was fantastic, I ended up in a park and watched the sunset, then came back home with my energy replenished. Those little things in life are what make it worth living and enjoying. 💜💜

I'm not surprised at all, your videos are so heartwarming and sweet they are like meeting a dear friend every saturday(here in Italy new videos are available saturdays about 1 pm). You said we are helping you, watching and commenting your videos , but I think it is the other way around: it's you helping us staying sane in those crazy and difficult times, gifting us a video every week. I really enjoy watching your vlog. It's refreshing, informative and calming. For a person living in New York, it can get lonely at times even though the city is crazy. So, you are not alone. Whilst I am not alone, I can appreciate the quiet times and simple living. I agree with you so much. I had a fast-paced career and Enid recently yo spend time with my little grandchildren. But, i found myself making all kinds of hard home projects until my dr told me to “settle” into a gentler life with new hobbies. Nan’s videos help clear my mind.

Your videos help me to feel like home when I'm travelling in the truck. They make me feel relaxing, so I keep them for little specials moments: when I'm about to sleep and I want a happy and calm finish of my day or when I wake up and I need extra energy. Thinking about people like you enjoying their lives the best they can, encourages me to do the same. It was hard more than a year ago to learn to leave my house (I'm quite a house person) and live on the road all the week, and then I discovered your videos and I felt like I learnt that I could bring the warm sensation I had being at home wherever I was. Nami I’m so happy that your surgery went well! Sometimes we can feel lonely in this world but we never are! I appreciate all the time and care you put into all your videos. Your videos are so relaxing and they have helped me get through many bad sick days (I am chronically ill and stay home 90% of the time) so thank you for sharing your life with me and making my days brighter too 😊

Dear Nami, I was so nervous when you announced your surgery though it's really stupid because when I watch this video it's long over 😅 I'm glad you had a speedy recovery and everything is fine again. And you are absolutely right: in our hasty world we should do nothing much more often. But many people have forgotten how and get sick and burnt out. You inspire me so much, I cannot tell you how happy I am that I found your vlogs. I watch them everyday and wish I could have seen these when I was younger. Today I am retired and at the moment having to stay off of my feet by doctors orders and I want to get up and try to do some cooking and cleaning like I see in your videos. I'm so thankful for my wonderful daughter who is taking such good care of me but I want to feel useful again. I'll use this time to watch all of your videos that I can.
