We drove from Dorset, England to Disneyland Paris and we’re only away for 2 nights... but we checked in, stayed at and explored the absolutely breathtaking Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris! ON ITS REOENING DAY & NIGHT! It’s DLP's only 5* hotel, it has a steep price tag, but was it worth it?

Might seem like silly question, sorry I have never stayed in 5star hotel before, but do you have to pay or tip for the service of taking our luggage straight to thehotel room? Like I saw when you first arrived at the Disneyland hotel. I just want to be really prepared.

No that’s a really good question, I would say that depends on the country you’re in, in the USA then yes you’d be expected to tip, but tipping as far as I’m aware in France is not a thing. So at Disneyland Paris I’d say no! Its such a lovely touch, I haven’t stayed in a proper 5* hotel in years (I used to work in them) so it was such a nice surprise to experience all those 5* touches again! Just don’t forget the valet parking/luggage handling like we did ha!

Oh my goodness, this will be your first ever stay in a Disney hotel?! You’ll never want to stay anywhere else 😂 I’ve stayed in a few at Disneyland Paris now and a few at Walt Disney World and I think this one is my favourite 🥹

The tunnel to France is on my bucket list. One of these days I'll fly to England, go exploring and then take the tunnel over to France to visit Disneyland Paris! I'm adding this hotel to my bucket list too. It looks SO very different than the hotel by the same name at my local park, the OG Disneyland park in California.

DLR is on my bucket list too! We’ll have to do a swop 😂 I’d love to try out the Disneyland Hotel in California, the Paris one is stunning, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Disneyland Paris again 🤣 I’m spoiled forever!

OMG that book 🤩 that’s the type of simple but amazing amenity that would keep me coming back…honestly, the Double Tree gave me a warm cookie upon check-in once and that cookie earned my loyalty for a few years 😂 But seriously, this hotel looks stunning, thank you so much for sharing!

Just keep in mind that if you have at least 1 Little Girl when going into this Hotel, be sure that the Girl practices her curtsy before meeting a Princess at this Hotel.

Ah well thank you for watching, it’s lovely to meet you 🥰 I know it’s so expensive isn’t it, that’s why we only stayed such a short space and time and without the free ferry crossing I think it would have been too much of a stretch 🙈 but it sure is magnificent! Its spoiled me forever 😂

I visited but didn’t stay back in 2001 and I remember it being very different! Although I can’t remember it clearly, I was only 15!

@@EverAfterAdventures that’s nice I remember staying when it first opened in April 1992 Euro Disney near Paris was my first holiday I was only 2 😃 Brings me back happy nostalgic memories Since I watched The Grand Opening night on ITV back in Brighton That was much more positive than what Sky News said about it My all time favourite character is Mickey Mouse So meeting him was most exciting for me And my favourite ride was star tours in Discoveryland

@calvinmckoy91 that’s funny you mentioned that, I was telling my Mum on Sunday that my obsession with Disney hotels is 100% her fault, my parents used to order the WDW promo video every year for us to watch and when ITV televised the DLP opening I watched on repeat for years 😂

Thank you! It’s the Sony ZV-E1, highly recommend, it’s fabulous! It was a huge upgrade from the DJI Action 3 and DJI Mic set up I previously had x

@@Lollipop1996we spent hours and hours researching cameras before I got this one, I didn’t mind the price tag too much as long as it stopped me going through camera after camera trying to find something decent (you can see on previous vlogs, it’s been a journey that’s for sure!) and this absolutely ticks all my boxes. If you check out my Walt Disney World vlog series from 2023 that’s the last series I used the old set up for, then the Arvia cruise is the first time I used the Sony. Everytime I use it I tweak some settings and I get better at it, it’s worth the effort for sure 😍

Too bad the hotel lost some of its charm and magic due to making it more contemporary instead of victorian chic.

I thought that might be the case but it feels more like you’re in Beauty and the Beast than contemporary, it’s very French I’d say and it’s definitely magical! That’s interesting it shows as contemporary on the video, it definitely didn’t feel it when we were there!

I wish we did 😂 we were actually in the Superior Room, it was beautiful and our view was amazing! The next video talks about the different rooms and what you get with each level. Castle Club is officially on my bucket list though 😂

I would love to stay here but my mum, who I would go with says it isn't worth it for 2 nights, I don't think I would get her to change her mind, which is sad

It’s certainly expensive, but I would say even the cheapest room is absolutely beautiful. It’s an experience for sure. You could stay there for 1 night and then a night at a cheaper hotel? Or you can stay elsewhere and visit in the daytime! My next video is about how magical it is at night though 🙈 sorry I’m not helping am I! Sam x

My idea is to stay in the Royal Suite, but I think any suite would be too big for me and my family. Castle Club for sure, though. It looks like fun!

@AmazingAlecia I do! There are 41 Castle Club rooms plus the suites. I don’t know the exact price but I do talk about this in the next video 😍

Might be mentioned in the next video but I’m wondering how much room service and in room breakfast is and what the menus were like. Staying there next month and don’t fancy a character dinner or breakfast buffet. Hoping the in room dining menu is decent.

Thanks so much for watching! So, with a Superior Room, there is no breakfast included. With a Deluxe Room, you have breakfast included and it’s in the D Lounge. Then if you’re Castle Club your breakfast is with the Princesses in the Castle Club area of the rotunda (all round the Rotunda). I explain more about all this in the next video and I also have a blog on my website about it going up in the next day or so 🥰

The cheapest one, the Superior Room, it was stunning and I highly recommend it! Just weigh up whether it would cost less to book this room or to pay for the deluxe room knowing it includes breakfast and afternoon tea/snacks x
