This renovated bunker is located on the Maginot Line, just outside of Luxembourg. We were able to rent this bunker for one night to stay in a living piece of WW2 History.

We’re really enjoying your tour. My husband is from the Netherlands and his dad was taken by the Nazi’s to paint their warships in Hamburg. He didn’t speak much on his time in work camps, obviously it really effected him. How could it not. My husband has a real connection and interest in this topic and hopes that one day, we can go see the places you did and show our respects. Many years ago, my dad went to the Netherlands to meet the Dutch family that’s been caring for my uncles grave there. He died at 19, a Canadian soldier there to liberate the Dutch people from the Nazi occupation. So many made the ultimate sacrifice for us, and too many seem to be forgetting the hell they all endured. My dad also toured the same places you did, and he came back a different man. He seemed more at peace, having seen these places. Hallowed ground, very powerful and moving to see it in person. Thank you both, you’ve done great on capturing these places. Your dad seems to be in all his glory. Nice to share this together as a family.

This utterly warmed my heart seeing you guys surprise Kelly’s dad with this Airbnb stay (I might have shed a tear lol). I have been lucky enough to travel all over the world, and it is an indescribable feeling when you get to check off the bucket list with a once in a lifetime accommodation stay. Can’t wait to see Sunday’s video!

its wonderful you brought your father on this trip. its a memorable experience you will cherish forever. i took my dad to normandy. i want to do bastogne next. its how i found this video. im trying to plan an itinerary. doesnt seem like too too much to see in that bastogne area.. maybe just a few days?

Your videos are so well produced, you need more views! You have covered so much of the globe and done such a good job of it more people must see your fine work. It's interesting that your most viewed video is about a nude beach, maybe you could try similar experiences on future trips...but obviously not with your dad, haha. Some more adult-themed videos may draw more eyes to your page in general. Please keep up the great work!
