For those that are unaware, it is possible to sell these ships, just not for full value. From the ones I've stolen/sold, their stated sale value is 10,251 and registration is around 8.8k (both with Commerce 4), so at best you could only make 1.4k credits. Without using any ship glitch techniques or anything, you can sell them to any ship vendor after bringing the vendor's available credits below the sale value. The game will ask for confirmation of selling for less than value, confirm and it's gone. I play on PC (no mods) but I would think this will work on console also.

The bridge is so large, you can walk in front of the captain's chair. So it's fun when you go into combat in this ship, and one of your crew members just walks in front of you, blocking your view of the proceedings.

This is like stealing darth vaders ship for fun...thats the vibe i'm getting. Love it.

Starborn ship easing in to land: A Hooman jumps onto the wing, and waits for them to open the door to start shooting.

Although this starborn ship is really cool, my class C version of the star eagle absolutely obliterates multiple starborn ships in a matter of about 30 seconds.

If you pull the wings off the pirate ship and have around 350 thousand credits you can build your cargo hold up to 45000 capacity , I done it with mine. Maneuvers like Bambi on ice but quality for carrying resources or doing the weapon case glitch.

Guess my game got a glitch somewhere. Every time a SB ship lands, no matter where I'm able to go in and take it (still on the main game lvl64). Ship is nothing compare with what else you can get.

Issue i've had with stolen ships, be they va'ruun, ecliptic, spacer, crimson or whatever, is when the game breaks and stolen ships can become invisible and unusable. Investing any time or money into building a stolen ship, is just asking to be Bethesda'd.

I stole one randomly, LOL. I didn't even have to kill any Starborn. After I stole the first one, it broke ALL of them for me. They still land, but now no Starborn come out of any of them, and I can enter them and steal them if I have room. I also can't exit them unless I steal them, since the door becomes inaccessible when I'm inside it. I also managed to sell my Guardian IV for 0 at an outpost shipbuilder so I could steal a Guardian V. Waiting around for Guardian VI's to spawn, then I will sell the V and steal a VI. Wild, huh?

i like the minimalist ship...so nice. I do wish we could upgrade it tho

I found a system where the game did not generate people, such a bug, all the ships were open there, all the buildings, I took 3 guard ships there, and could not sell them

Oh that’s how I’ve tried but usually after they been out of the ship. Not that they’re any good nothing inside not even a chair to wait. Level 4 got beat by spacers that the vanilla razorleaf has for breast fast

i wish they made more than one type of these. a starborn battlecruiser would be baller. spec it out like a built claymore 3 with the ability to go invis

The easiest one i stole was on vectra the base you start on as i went back for lin and a starborn ship landed just behind my ship on the hill so i re loaded and it spawned again so i took some amp and had to wait for it to land it was so easy as i entered just as the starborn existed the ship and i was in the pilot seat they were still on the wing as i took off 😂

Steal them? There are so many that just drop out of the sky in my lap. Nobody ever comes out and nobody ever goes in, but I can board them and take off.

This started more often from the last update. I have VI, V and I models.

The downside to the starborn ship is that you only get 2 weapons and they take time to replenish ammo. But it's fast, good grav drive and unique

Ive stopped playing the game, but this is interesting. I got to NG+ and just completely lost interest in playing it. Anyway, you would think the Businessman of Business at your secret clubhouse would be all over a new, unknown type of ship. You should be able to sell them to him for bonus bucks. The Starborn ships are incredibly lame though. I wonder what Bethesda was thinking. This is an end game item. The reward for all your hard work. Its like when in Skyrim, you're the head of the Mages Guild, The Black Hand, Thieves Guild, etc.. Then you do the civil war quest line. They tell you to take over a province for them. Your reward is a 2 gold piece wooden shield. Thats what the Starborn ship is. If you could sell it, and apparently you can, it isn't even worth the trouble of stealing it.

I haven't even bothered with the Starboring, weirdo stalkers.

Those guardian ships are all style over substance, I'll stick to my scratch built ex pirate ship

do starborn ships still follow you Guys on planets in your NG+? for me they just stopped and I only, if ever, see them in the lvl 75 systems, but only in space. also, did they ever attack you while exploring a planet?

Had a Crazy Game breaking Bug happen to me after stealing the Starborn ship! Every Marker on every Planet in every System was Grayed out and I couldn’t Land anywhere on the Map! Was unable to jump to any Map Markers or Land nothing would work! Thankfully I had saved the game before trying to steal the ship! Tried reloading saves after stealing the ship rebooted the game tried everything. All I could do is go back to the Save before Stealing the Ship! Crazy Right? One of the Saves I had from after I stole the ship I loaded it and the Starborn ship weapons no longer were there just empty weapon slots! Obviously I got very unlucky with this Glitch since technically you shouldn’t be able to steal the Starborn ship yet! Just make sure you always have Back up Saves before doing any Game Glitches never know what could happen to your game! That said thanks for the Video it did help me steal the ship! I just unfortunately got a game breaking bug after the fact! Not blaming anyone it’s the Risks we all take when taking advantage of Game Glitches!

Do you need to be a certain level to steal class c ships like starborn? Va ruun and starborn I can't steal. I've got all perks upgraded for class c ships but nothing.

you can sell them if you find a vendor with 0 credits. Obviously the only benefit is it clears the trash from your ship storage lol

They can break the game, I wouldn’t recommend it. Cannot get into other ships or sell it without exploiting.

All these ships have are speed and agility. You cant even sell these. I stole 2 thinking i could and now im stuck with 3 of these.

There’s not a whole lot in that ship for sure.. you get them for free after Finnish the main story..and play another universe.

i would say dont steal this ship i did and now im stuck in the matter of the heart quest, sam and his ex wife are my forever people i dont play on pc either ,so untill a fix comes im stuck

I can't remember if I had already quit trying by NG+++++++ but every guardian ship I have found in the wild has been INACCESSIBLE when trying to enter.

Be careful stealing these ships because you cannot sell or get rid of them. The highest level one that I have found is the level 5 ship. I would advise to only steal a level 4 or 5. The main reason to steal one is to see the reactions of the ship technicians when you talk to them after landing at a starport.

Once you get to a certain level you just walk in. I personally hate them. I stop stealing them because you can't sell or update them, Normal ships have crap everywhere that you can't pick up but they they do have beds and seats. You cannot rest on one of these things. You cant even rest in the only chair. I think I was able to exit via the door once but most time I can and have to exit sitting on the seat and using X. I hope they improve these things.

Only problem with them is you can't sell them. I have two but stopped stealing them after i was stuck with them. I'm on ng+1 Maybe my game is glitched because I can board and steal them fine 🤔
