You found yourself in a Lake Effect Snow Squaw. It will be dumping up to 6 feet of snow on you. What an adventure you have found yourself in. At least your prepared to take care of yourself. They had New York State Troopers pull a semi-truck driver out of his jack-knifed rig and he had nothing with him but the clothes on his back. He was wearing a t-shirt, shorts & a pair of flip flop sandals. He had no food or water to survive. That was during this Lake Effect Snowstorm up by Buffalo that you were recording. At least you can take care of yourself. I see you're a Vet. Thanks for your service. I did almost 10 years in the Air Force back in the Late 70's & 1980's. Enjoy your 4Runner. I'm enjoying my 2021 4Runner, just wishing it was paid for.

Dec 23-25th in the same area you were at, the area got hit with another major snowstorm, but this time the temps dropped well below 0. Hope you found a new destination.

@@StasisChasing Happy Holidays to you. Be safe in your travels. Storm Chasing is a risky business but if you have the yearn for it, by all means go for it. The parts of the Blizzard you were showing is important for the rest of the world to see. The different weather events you find yourself in are totally amazing such as your video from the hurricane in FL. Stay safe Stas.

The Hampton Inn is 5 mins from my house in South Buffalo. We had 2 "once in a lifetime" storms about a month apart... that was it for me, I'm heading south.. plus the crazy tyranny from these crazy politicians!

Now do you see why so many people died in Buffalo during 1977 after a 3 day blizzard. They ended up with 100 inches of snow blown into 30 or 40 ft drifts. I would put that shovel to use each day while you are still able to get out.
