It's weird for me, I can run the games on ryujinx directly but then I cannot play it since the inputs is still active on desktops, so whenever I press a button in the game it also presses the button on desktop. In game mode when I try to run it it's not launching though, so I don't think it's a key issue since the game launches on desktop. What could it be?

You can get better performance with mods for both the game itself and steamOS (tweak utilities and the likes)

I have ryujinx as a standalone app and not emudeck + ryujinx on my SD and wanted to know if it's possible to add it to my sd library. I actually dont want to add it, but then i lose out on the performance metrics and refresh rate . Would really appreciate some tips. Great video btw!

is the Ryujinx performance still worse than Yuzu? When I saw comparison videos not only I was worried by the lower framerates, but mostly by the higher power draw

Thank you. My Switch is falling apart and my controllers have a little drift and the rails are super loose on the controllers and Switch where it will disconnect if you barley move it and reconnect and mess me all up while holding it. I put some tape on the bottom of the tablet part to kinda shimmy it when I slide the controllers onto it that helped a bit but now it's starting to not work with the connecting. It's almost 7 years old and I refuse to buy another one right now and wasn't gonna by another anyway unless they every did an office price drop but they never did and I wasn't gonna buy a dated piece of hardware at the same prices years later and have been holding out on the next system. LOL so this helps me play on my Deck now that isn't falling apart, just gotta get my saves over to it from the Switch if I can.

I own the games that I use on my steam deck but I don't have a hacked switch.

You can spray some WD40 inside of the joystick on one pair of the joycons, that usually fixes it for a while.

Thank you! is there a guide written somewhere on hotkeys for ryujinx? once i go fullscreen on deck, without a keyboard connected, it's almost impossible to go the settings of the emulator.

Problem when using the Steam Rom Manager is, you need to setup it again after every Ryujinx update. Or you will play on a "outdated" build with possible worse performance than a new build...

That joycon problem is globally called "stick drift" and its caused mostly by pressing stick (L3, R3 buttons) ✌🏻

Everytime i boot a game up, it goes black then goes to steamos. When I go through Emulation Station is says it cannot locate the path, i chdcked the oath & it is correct. Any ideas?

The Firmware isn't installing its showing prod keys are missing but they are in the correct place and this error only appears when I try to install the firmware.

Unfortunately, he only does mods for pc's and not steamdeck. But still I'm grateful for your help. Now I followed your ryujinx/emudeck video tutorial and I noticed that ryujinx is more picky when it comes to launching sw***h games. I tested some yuzu games that work, but in ryujinx will only reach the launch page and crash. But my goal is to be able to play princess peach showtime in ryujinx. Still no luck here, as I only get a black screen after launching the game in ryujinx.. Will still continue to search for possible solution in the net.. i tried to run super mario odyssey in ryujinx, but the gameplay is very slow, it's like playing the game in slowmo, tried it in suyu and everything just works perfect, any idea why ryujinx run the game slower?

I’ve been trying for days not to get a game running and it just won’t work, idk what I’m doing wrong and it’s driving me insane. I’ve watched video after video and none have helped me😭 the games won’t open and play. It shows up on my steam library but as soon as I click play it loads then just take me to the empty Ryujinx page. Even after applying folder. And it not empty because like I said it’s showing up in steam?

Its a really good explanation video and everything works fine if i play splatoon. But the camera just goes horizontal and i have no idea why?

Hi, my controls don't work. The game boots up fine on the steam deck from it's own menu, but my controls do not work. In your video you go to the input settings, and then your video swithes to the zelda game to show us to change the input from gaming mode. Did you start the game in Ryujinx, or in Steam? In Ryujinx I can get the game to work (really slow) with controls working, but not when I boot up the game from Steam?

I have a yuzu question.. When I was tinkering the yuzu settings to run Princess Peach Showtime, I kinda messed up the settings and now the touch control is way off. When I play a yuzu game, the touch control is like 2 inches to the left of where I touch the screen. I check the yuzu settings and there is a "reset all settings" button. I'm having second thoughts clicking it as it might messed up even further. Is there a way to reset the settings for an individual game and not all the yuzu games in my collection? Like if I right click a game then try to reset that game only? Thanks!

I seriously do not know what I'm doing wrong. I have my keys in three different locations on my Deck and Ryujinx is still not finding them. Am I doing something wrong??? Edit: I'm trying to install my dumped firmware, but no matter what I try it says that it cannot find my keys, despite them being in the Ryujinx install folder, and in Emulation\switch, and even from my Switch's own microSD card

So I just setup ryujinx with the 17.0.0 firmware and tried to run metroid dread with it's game update. When I click run the game it tries to load but then freezes and crashes. I have tried with both the vulkan and opengl gpu api. Any thoughts on what would be causing the crash?

Hi so 2 things, 1: I am trying to play RDR1 on Ryujinx emulator, it boots normally but I cannot get past the menu as if the buttons don't work. 2: When I press Add Games/Parse, I get a pop up saying "Enabled parsers returned no apps". I have checked that both "Emulators" and "Ryujinx Switch" are both enabled and that the game also works normally but I cannot fix this issue.
