Do you know how to use the sd card from retrodeck? I can't figure out how to run it. All I can do is put the sd into my steamdeck and I'm lost from there.

@peachyporscha i think it asks you to find the roms folder on the batocera drive the first time you run retrodeck. It might not be worth it batocera is nice.

What's your issue with the shader cache? Removal? The compilation? The Size? Because Valve already fixed the things above, like a months ago.. Shader Cache is going to stay. That's part of the videocard eco. Valve already deliver those when you download the game.

I think the real issue is you ain't a gamer homie. I've got 5.5TB SSD on my steam deck. 2TB int 2TB ext another 512GB Ext (upgrading to 2TB eventually) and 1TB SD If I undock I lose whatever games I obviously don't bring with me but when I get home and plug it in, a 100 something games need to be redone but it takes you know 30 minutes to an hour give or take. Never really time it because I don't care. I turn it on and I watch TV or I play games on GeForce Now while I wait. So your excuse is what again? And I didn't even fill up the externals completely. I got to like 300 installed games and I was like yeah that's enough for now. Obviously it could be way more if I had downloaded a bunch of small games but I went for 50 GB and up and that's barely skimming my collection. So I still want to know what your real excuse is cuz it ain't shader catch homie. Heck I'm even contemplating just buying another steam deck and just putting two TB in there and loading it up with a thousand something smaller games. That way I got like the ultra portable and I don't have to worry about docking it or anything else. Or I'll wait to the next revision and buy that one, something like that. Either way, shader cache is not an issue. Especially if you buy top of the line SSDs. Valve Steam Deck changed gaming forever. Take all my money. 💯💸💰💳
