I have both. I use the Switch OLED to play NES, SNES, N64, GBA and Sega games legally, Metroid games (and old Star Wars games that aren’t compatible on my Steam Deck without running Windows), and I use the Steam Deck OLED to live in the future and enjoy modern games on the go like an OG 😍

I don't get this take "Steam Deck is for those who already has big Steam library", I think it's the opposite, the Steam Deck is for those who never had a steam library and having a console-like device can introduce them to PC gaming. If you don't have a Steam library then go and get a Steam Deck and build your library there, for the price of one Mario game you can get like 5 - 10 Steam games. Much easier and cheaper to build Steam library than to build Nintendo Switch library with their ridiculous prices
