It is purely Finnish designed, in Mechanical Technical Bureau in State Railways head office in Helsinki. I personally think that designers and construction engineers had seen pictures of German Reichsbahn Baureihe 01 "Pacific" and some French development sketches too. I've seen a drawing of 4-8-0 engine project.

I do not know. There are currently no upcoming trips known. Not even for the summer of 2024. Here's a link to the operator's page: hoyryjuna.weebly.com . and hoyryjuna.weebly.com/in-english.html . You could follow those pages in the spring of 2026.

I would recommend a narrow-gauge museum railway between Humppila and Jokioinen here in Finland. They drive their trains in summer seasons.
