A collaborative project made by different animators paying hommage to the famous 1928 Disney cartoon "Steamboat Willie". The short premiered at the D23 Expo on August 10, 2013. It was shown at the "Mickey: The True Original" Exhibition in New York.

I just love the whistle moment bit. The fact the team decided to make that part on traditional animation it's amazing. Legit looks like something that could came up just 10 years later than the actual short.

here’s a big wave to finding more animators! Andreas Deja (did the iconic Mickey whistling scene) Stacey Aoyama (did the small chibi-like Mickey scene after Ricardo) Vitaliy Strokous (their scene is after Dan Bob’s, and before Patrick Moss’ since you forgot to credit him) Polygon Pictures (did the scene after Patrick too) Adam Rosette (when Mickey plays the xylophone as a bull) and last but not least: Jamie Mason (known as Hobo Divine; did the last scene before the end card) have a good day!
