this video and the one where you trial all the different compounds are the best I've seen for braking, unfortunately I saw them after I had found the setup for my car. I drive a 18 GT Manual Non Performance pack (4 pots up front with advics calipers instead of the Brembos, similar setup than Ecoboost pp) and ended up finding that for my local track, with DTC 60 for the 4 corners, and Motul 660 was all I need to improve my system (until I get improve even more my driving). Great content!!

So glad you did this video, been looking at some 2-piece rotors but didn't know Steeda had some. Now, just need to compare prices and weight.

RB Performance Rotors are 10 pounds lighter per rotor for about the same price. That's 20 pounds shed from the front axle vs 15 from the steeda rotors.

Will these be available from Steeda UK? I don't think you mentioned the benefits of reducing unsprung weight?

I would like to add these to my Mach 1 full send Steeda HP car but need a recommendation on Hawk Pads. This Rotor/Pad combo will be track only. I participate in track days at Mid Ohio, and will be attending autocross events. I'm guessing DTC 60/30 is what I will need since I plan to autocross with light track use. Stock brakes and pads are still very new 4k miles with 4 track days on them. Planning on keeping them for the street.

Are these good for high horsepower street cars on my 19 Roush Stage 3 Mustang and what pads do you suggest ?

If you’re doing track/tight backroads then yes but if this is just for runs/drags then not really. For daily driving they can be a bit of a drag. Honestly if it’s light usage then just change the brake pads

What’s the brake in procedure? Any info like that would’ve been great inside the box the fronts are mark left and right the rears or not, and I understand you can match on the same way as the brown, but I don’t know spend money like that a little instructions would be nice just for a peace of mind.

My 2017 GT PP with Brembos is almost ready for new front brakes. I have never put the car on the track but enjoy spirited driving up in the mountains every now and then. This is largely my daily driver and only rests on weekends when I don’t have to work. Would there be a good combination of near factory pads or slightly more aggressive and these rotors to continue daily driving this car? I like the weight reduction idea mostly and if they can reduce weight and behave like a factory rotor I’d rather buy Steeda.

Hi Gabriel - If you're looking for a pad that is a slight upgrade over the factory Performance Package pads, then we recommend the Hawk Performance HPS-5.0. They're low dust, no noise and offer slightly improved stopping power over the factory pads. Hope this helps! -Chris

So I understand all that is important. But I tend to run more on the drag strip than the road course. Less rotating mass being important but not so much brake fade. Are these still the best option for me? Or will it have more to do with the pads I choose? Thoughts and recommendations will be greatly appreciated. And yes I have a 20'GT PP1. Thanks much.

These will help performance regardless of location due to the reduction in rotating mass! You'll see more benefit on the road course, since you're using all four wheels there, but any reduction in weight helps. If you need some help on brake pad choice, I'd recommend watching the Hawk Performance brake testing videos on our channel! -Chris

Would be great if it shipped with directions or even markings on them to show which is left and which is right... lil disapponted not even a diagram, sticker etc. Serial number on both is the same so no way to tell left and right... 50/50 chance I prob got it wrong.😠
