Seeing how these power ups change the flow of the battle, I do hope they use that super vegeta model for the evolution boost. Probably the best grade two super saiyan has looked in awhile.

@@ItsTJ7 most of the characters in the demos were Goku and Vegeta, who do charge standard, but when Ribriane, Whis, UI Goku, Beast Gohan and other newer characters are playable i doubt they will have standard ki charging since even Xenoverse 2 gave them unique charges.

My question is how does health/lives/stock in this game work? Never played a budukai game so it it like “stocks” where after your life is depleted it regenerates to a point and you lose a “stock” (I’m assuming so because of the green bars)

Because those were old blocky movements and Raging blast was able to go 60fps+Smoother Animations and now we keep seeing Spike making improvements here every few showcases until release.

i know tenkaichi 3 used to do this but why they didnt make supers or ultimates less about cutscenes and more about gameplay ..like Kamehameha you just press and charge and you still in the game whereas final flash and the broly beam attack is bout 2 3 sec cutscene..why we need to look at that everytime..i don't wanna watch i wanna play more after all these years they could have change this hopefully modders will make some attacks chargeable like in bt3 mod

It makes the fights more cinematic. This is my preferred way of doing super attacks. I think it’s the perfect medium. It’s not just a quick boring super blast, but it’s not long and drawn out like a lot of the budokai super attacks.

Pretty sure it’s a mixture of both. There’s several gameplays where Goku or other characters do blast attacks (including kamehameha) without a cutscene

That happened in Tenkaichi 3, too. There were chargeable beam attacks, and then there were instant beam attacks. Those attacks have an animation that lasts like 2-3 seconds and launches the attack immediately after the cutscene. While the cutscene happens, "time is stopped" An example of this is Goku's kamehameha kaioken X20. Majin Vegeta's big bang attack, teen Gohan ss2 Super Kamehameha etc

It's already confirmed that there will be GT characters in the game, and Sean Schemmel has done voice work for Super Sayain 4. The only thing we don't know is if it will be DLC or not

Im kinda worried about this game man! Ive noticed that all characters have the same jumping double kick animation in there strings. Trunks ssr, vegeta blue evo and kaioken blue goku are all poorly done, they dont add special aesthetic or variations of your moves when you use those forms, so its just a damage boost. I think we may see a xenoverse situation all over again due to lazy design😢
