thats usually how warhammer animations work, the animation work is great but they don't have the money to hire voice actors or quality ones at least. So you get so many great animations ruined by bad voice acting. I think thats why silent animations like ASTARTES did so well@@poshboy4749

It's not a stereotype. I'm an IG player. The books outright say that 70% of IG commanders and generals use their troops as fodder and human wave units. Combine this with most planets not having the military tradition or training necessary to act with any level of initive. This means most guard forces are largely incompetent, and even if they are not they are lead by incompetent leaders. Units like the Elyisian drop troops, or the Armageddon steel legion are the exception in the galaxy not the rule.

@@irontemplar6222hardly, Cadian Shock Troops were once the most ubiquitous of Guard regiments and their tactics were far more sophisticated than human wave attacks. Countless regiments follow their model still even if Cadia is but a memory. Furthermore, there’s plenty of regiments such as those from Tallarn and Katachan that simply don’t face enemies head on thereby making human wave attacks simply unviable.

@Imperator_Vasilefs_Kaisar mate I'm talking about IG commanders which they stright up do say "throw bodies until problem goes away." Second no the cadians are not the most numerous. Yes they give alot of troops mostly because of cadia secundus (that's not what it's called its a Hive World I'm the cadia system.) But even so no where in the lore does it say cadians are the most numerous of the guardsmen regiments. I mean that espessially falls flat when we know multiple worlds that give more guardsmen regiments and have a much high population than cadia. Further cadia shocktroops despite their name are only renown for two things good moral, and decent marksmanship. (Although notably said marksmanship and moral doesn't make them any better then any of the othe guardsmen regiments statistically)

Yes, AT-70 mimics construction quirks of Leman Russ, but done with simpler and more primitive technology. Not directly based on it's construction, but inspired, like Argentinian "Nahuel" tank and it's inspiration - M4 Sherman.

Stegs are still produced by traitor hive worlds and forge worlds. The larger imperium considers them inefficent and only planetary organisations use them. As for AT70 - a hiveworld with outdated STCs would still produce it because if you cant get a better STC or you cant set it up properly on your planet for some reason, you will make any tank you can because Big E help you if the Orks show up during the next meteor rain and you dont have armour.
