He also reveals why the late great Tupac Shakur didn't appear in "Menace to Society" despite New Line Cinema demanding he appear to green light the project.

Yea hes dope i wouldn't put him in my top 10 but he definitely one of the best ever 2 bless the mic.I do like "Comptons Most Wanted" first couple albums more then his first two solo albums which are classics as well.I just like how Comptons Most Wanted had more of uh jazzy/abstract soul feel with there albums Vs. Most of the funk driven music that was coming out the west at the time which was dope 2.CMW just created there own style which was dope.I know some years back MC Eiht did uh collab album w/Spice 1 and I think he did 1 w/ C-BO I been meaning 2 check out ✔.

grew up on CMW as well... i actually grew up in sweden and the hip hop scene belonged to us.... tiny country so me and my friends pretty much as we were the only rappers... some of us blew up... got to collab with peeps like eiht, ice cube and da lenchmob and kept in touch... fuckin wild times back in the day...

Honestly Music to Drive By is More replay worthy than the Chronic to Me atleast, MTDB with that Jazzy samples and smooth tones and Slow rhymes with the Gangbanging affiliated lyrics. Chronic to Me is One of the best Albums Ever created and i don’t put One of them over above another But for me Music to Drive By is More replay worthy

If those record labels promoted more of Eihts work he would be way More Popular Same with Daz Dillinger and Kurupt, alongside Eiht they Became Independent At the peak of their career and then Album sales went downhill and they didnt even hit the Billboard Charts Even tho they Went in the top 10 2 years ago. But im Glad it Went that way imagine they flipped their style to stay relevant.

I saw CMW back in the early 90s at Club Genesis in Dallas. Concert was Fri. Sat there was a party at some big hotel and Eiht was there. He was just out in the crowd by himself kickin it with the rest of us.

I am thankful for record stores existing in the 90's or I never would have been put on to MC Eiht. This was when the hip-hop radio station was just starting in Indianapolis.
