Way underestimated Frazier. The dude is a road grader. Low center of gravity and by far the purest center in the draft

Crazy to see how far Depot has come over the years. Great resource. I love Frazier at Center. I put him over the others. Barton is going to be a guard if he pans out. I think Dave nailed that analysis. He may dabble at center and tackle a bit but if that guy isn’t a guard nobody is imo..

Pickens and Darnell Washington had Injury issues. Wilson last injury was in 2021. Hines Ward and Greg Lloyd played their entire reason without their ACL.

I figured Frazier would be there at 51. Glad we didn’t trade up . Great pick Roman Wilson at 84 is decent value, I’d rather have D Johnson P Wilson offered great value. If he can stay healthy this may be one of the best linebacker groups in the league

They still need a vet center. You just can't assume any rookie is going to step in and start, especially on the offensive line. These are great pieces for 2025-26, but early this season, we may well see Moore and Jones starting at tackle, and Van Jefferson starting opposite Pickens. If Frazier's not working on his hop step right now, we might see Mason Cole back in Pittsburgh.

Listen I love the Draft but the WR room really concerns me I think Wilson is a legit slot. I assume they are still trying to trade for a vet WR2 ??

Have to give big applause amazing job so far in year 2 in the Omar regime…love his patience to aggressive mix with draft and free agency moves. Very exciting for sure. I think we will try and trade for Cortland Sutton will we land him?.. but I think we will make a fair attempt. Let’s Go Steelers!!!

Anybody want to draft Johnny Wilson at round 4. He’s 6’6” 230lbs with a 4.5 40. I would consider that outside receiver. And ….last name is Wilson

I dig our draft a lot. I admit to mild disappointment with our round 1 pick. Not because of anything I dont like about him, just that with our secondary being ass and Mitchell sitting there, I kinda leaned that way. I love Frazier and Payton! Hard-nosed AFC North type players to me! And Wilson, though small, seems to be tough-minded and has some speed and very good hands! I, like you, think we could still take another receiver but we need corner and d-line help for sure. Excited to see how it all plays out!

I dont necessarily agree w/ your assessment. Id say our secondary is actually a good bit improved over last year. But another consideration is we got a top ten type offensive tackle at pick 20. We absolutely needed to improve our line. Especially w/ our 2 new qbs being 2 of the most sacked qbs in the league. But this is the difference. Theres still some really good CB's that are free agents. The OT free agent market is completely dried up. We should sign gilmore, and sullivan or pate p as depth + nickel. And/ Or explore Simmons.

@@Nate-zm6bd I dont agree that the secondary is necessarily improved. I think Elliott is an improvement but Jackson seems to be just a 'guy'. Trice looks like he could have potential, but thats all he has if he never sees the field. As it stands right now, the secondary is the biggest issue on the team and I sincerely hope they address it. Way too many times last year we got burned in the back for huge chunks.

@@NoOneYaKnow666 I think its improved over last year but still needs more help. I agree last year was very subpar. I think we kept the good pieces, and added a couple more. I agree we have some unknown commodities between Jackson and Trice. Thats why I think we should sign Gilmore. And maybe Sullivan or Pate P for slot and depth. Dont think well find what we are looking for out of the draft today in the 4th and 6th rounds.

So I'm assuming, since we didn't pick up a DB/CB;we're gonna bring back Patrick Perterson. So since we drafted that WR (welson), does that mean AUSTIN(19) is out? I think Austin and Welson are similar

Maybe the Steelers aren’t too concerned with player’s previous medical history if they’re currently healthy now, because they may feel that once they’re in the building and have them on a solid nutritional program, supplements, conditioning, and training that the injuries can possibly be reduced. These kids are going to have to learn self care at the NFL level and take care of their bodies if they want to stay in the league longer than average.

Roman Wilson is going to be a steal! I watched Michigan the past few years and Roman was way more talented at WR than JJ McCarthy was at QB. Roman is such a good route runner and really unguardable with speed… JJ just couldn’t expose Roman’s abilities fully because JJ couldn’t get Roman the ball consistently. He’s definitely AB like….

we were fine with Justin Hartwig. We were fine with Jeff Hartings. Neither of them were anywhere near the Webster/Dawson/Pouncey echelon.

Steelers stole the best linebacker in the draft. That with Frazier and Troy Fuatanu we have a top 5 oline. Roman Wilson is going to be a really good player.

Do I love these injury histories? No. But these guys are still young. Maurikice Pouncey started off with a couple major injuries too. But on the individual players, I think you got Frazier right. Ben Jones, Jeff Hartings kind of Center. Not super special but better than average Center. Roman Wilson is WR in my eyes. Pickens is a big boy. We don't need another bigger than average WR and with 4.39 speed Wilson can turn into a good deep threat. Peyton Wilson is a fantastic athlete after all these injuries. He has good upside and I'm good with taking a chance on that upside at 98.

He’s 5’ 10”. He’s short but not Calvin Austin short. He’s the same height as AB, Steve Smith Sr., Hines Ward, etc. You can play big at his height.
