Since the NFL banned tackling he should be pretty productive for us.

Tackling was always overrated. I’m glad it’s gone. It makes the game more like frisbee.

Hey Alex, man the Steelers are really trying! If the QB's are any good this season, we going to a Superbowl 🏆 Thanks for the video you have a wonderful day!

RB #3 and a dynamic Kick Return? I love it. Great job Alex!
@SteelPastor4 ай бұрын
He is maybe the single most knowledgeable player in the league regarding the return game. Every potential future returner should listen to anything he has to say. He should be a big help when crafting an approach to the new rules. Kick returns will be a very important to field position this year. Think about it. This guy averages 30 yards per return. The cover team cannot release until the returner fields the ball. The kicking team must kick the ball to land between the goal line and the twenty yard line. The returner is already moving forward while the cover team is flat-footed. I could see this guy scoring five KO TD's this year.

If he still has speed then we def got a return guy. I don't see him taking time from Najee or Jaylen.

Yo Alex, Khan obviously anticipated the kickoff change being approved and had a deal ready to go, I love it despite his age plus he can play RB and WR in a pinch! Smart move!

None since 2017. Hope that changes this year.

937 the fan said the same thing. Best kick returner all time. One of the best RB at reading blocks, perfect RB3 and size similar to Najee. Hes a utility offensive player he can play multiple positions. He flourished under Arthur Smiths offense. Only downside is that he is old but we arent relying on him to be a 3 down player.

He was a JUCO transfer to my alma mater, UT Vols. First game of the season and his first touch, he took the opening kickoff 100 yards to the house. The rest is history. He's long in the tooth but hopefully he has a little left in the legs.

just fyi there are numerous nfl people who rush for over 1,000 yards or throw for 3,000 yards or even broke records at an advanced age. adrian peterson john riggins frank gore and many more over 30. Also, world records are consistently broken by 30+ folks.,., carl lewis, linford christie etc etc. I'm not exactly sure why 30 became the old man in the nfl. But at 30, most elite athletes have a lot in the tank.
@Alex_Kozora4 ай бұрын
Patterson is 33. Not saying he can't make an impact but 33 in the NFL is old. AP and Gore are the exceptions, not the rule.
@lawnjenkins4 ай бұрын
@@Alex_Kozora I absolutely love you guys show.,., I'm from aliquippa living in Cleveland and I rely on you all a lot.,., but with that said, don't forget Curtis martin (pittsburgh guy) Dorsett (aliquippa guy), Tiki barber, Emmit, fred taylor.,.,(and many of the names I named have receiving yards as well) I can go on and on. I think it's not the 30 year old age, i think the 30 year olds command bigger contracts than 21 year olds. Same with QBs, Offensive and defensive line guys. GO STEELERS! Again Love the show!
@Alex_Kozora4 ай бұрын
@@lawnjenkins thanks man! I get your point. But Patterson isn't in that tier. Now it helps he doesn't have the mileage those backs did. And I think he can still play. But it's worth at least mentioning his age because 33 for a RB/KR, it is old on the aggregate
@lawnjenkins4 ай бұрын
@@Alex_Kozora True but a hall of fame athlete is a hall of fame athlete and he will be inducted because he holds all time records. I just hope and believe he has 5-7 plays a game in him :-). I think that's all they should need him for when it's all said and done. 🤞🤞🤞

The punt and kick off returns are going to be a joke with the new tackle rules. I think they have to raise their hand first before intiating contact or it's a 15 yard penalty

Anyone thinking ANGRY RUNS, this guy runs hard and he’ll push Mr Harris in practice
@jwsteelers14 ай бұрын
LOL Push Harris in practice. These comments have me crying laughing. This is a 33 year old dude that barely played last year under Smith in Atlanta. He was brought in 100% because of the new kickoff rule. Najee is already one of the angriest runners in the game. Patterson will do nothing to push him. Now tell me how iron sharpens iron. LOL

@lawnjenkins4 ай бұрын
He's a bigger guy who has proven over the years that he is extremely good in open space. excellent at setting up and finding holes. with the new kickoff rule he should easily average his 30 yards per return. We should need him no more than 7 plays a game or if an emergency happens.
