The Pittsburgh Steelers wrapped minicamp Thursday but Christopher Carter and Jenna Harner focus on how the team's young defensive nucleus looks to be a big feature this season. Defensive coordinator Teryl Austin and defensive line coach Karl Dunbar can been seen in this show talking about players like Joey Porter Jr., Patrick Queen and Keeanu Benton for how they've grown fast enough to potentially be major contributors and future leaders for the defense.
But those three players aren't alone, as Chris and Jenna also delve into other young contributors like Payton Wilson, Nick Herbig, Corey Trice, DeMarvin Leal and others who each have shown positive steps taken towards the upcoming training camp.

PQ JPJ and Minkah are gonna lead us to another Superbowl I remember the feeling I got in 2005 about our defense and how stacked it was and now I'm starting to feel that again. This offense is also gonna stand on business and I can't wait to see them beat up the AFC North. And we get a shot at the chiefs at the end of the season and I can't wait to smoke the chiefs so we can get our bragging rights back

I agree, and I think we are being so underrated with what we have on offense. I think we will win by playing smash mouth football and running through these teams who play with smaller defenders. We will control the clock and keep the Lamar Jackson's and Burrows on the sideline.

People in Baltimore loved queen . Now he’s gone to their rival and they are trashing him and down playing him , saying he’s just a product of Roquan Smith . We do things different over here . Queen gonna be a superstar for the Steelers.

I really hope Larry Ogunjobi is healthy this year. He’s been hurt his entire career . But still plays , he’s a tough guy , but we need him to play that Aaron Smith , run stopping role .

My predictions for the season 12-5 with a battle for #1 seed against ravens #1 defense #10 offense Most rushing yards by any team easy with our triple headed Cerberus rush game OPOTY goes to GP he's gonna have a breakout season (wishful thinking) DPOTY TJ Watt (definitely possible) Justin gets a shot is my last prediction i think if Russ doesnt ball out which i have a feeling he will Justin will step up and have the best season hes had so far with a good o line and run game the dudes gonna become Lamar Jackson 2 Edit: Justin has a better arm than Lamar and our defesne is gonna shut him down its Joe im gonna be worried about

We were focusing on *young* players this episode. While he's not old, he's 28 and not necessarily in the *young* category. Also cut out stuff on Trice/Rush/Bishop from Austin because it would've made this show a lot longer. Will use that in the coming weeks.
