Farrah Fawcett was an actress most known for Charlie's Angels. Her "red bathing suit" poster is one of the top-selling posters of all time.... and her hairstyle "The Farrah Fawcett" (feathered with big layers) was one of the most popular styles in the 80s. She was an 80s sex symbol.

I had that poster. I was 16-17 at the time ('75-'76). She was quite iconic, even though she was only a regular cast member for the first season of Charlie's Angels. Farrah Fawcett was in one of my favorite pre "Star Wars" sci-fi films: "Logan's Run" (probably listed as Fawcett-Majors in the credits). Peter Ustinov as the old man quoting "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats" (T.S. Elliott).

It’s not falsetto. It’s a soprano note, G5 to be exact. It’s almost impossible for a male to hit that note. Miljenko Matijevic is the singer’s name. They’re from Norwalk, CT.

Miljenko Matijevic is the name of the lead singer. He has an incredible vocal range. To hear more Steelheart, check out "I'll Never Let You Go" and "Can't Stop Me Loving You". There is also an unplugged version of "She's Gone" that is worth listening to.

This is a great song, but "I'll Never Let You Go" is their banger-iest. "Everybody Loves Eileen" is also great, as is their cover of Led Zeppelin's "Black Dog". The lead singer is Croatian-born Miljenko Matijevic. Also... your first video tomorrow will make it 800 VIDEOS!!!! ❤😸❤😸❤😸❤😸❤😸❤😸

@@chriso6719 It had more to do with Mili's on stage accident. It was horrific. It's the last time the og lineup performed together. But, yeah, Grunge definitely killed a lot of rock bands.

Thank you! Steelheart was a force for sure but in 1992 a faulty lighting truss hit Miljenko Matijevic on the head. It broke his nose, cheekbone, jaw, and caused a spine injury. That was pretty much the downfall of Steelheart. However, they do continue to perform periodically. I’ll Never Let you Go has to be the next review.

One of my best friends shared a third-floor apartment in Greenwich, Connecticut with Mike (lead singer; he went by Mike) and his cousin Nick some years ago. I went to pick up my buddy to go out bar hopping and ran into Mike on the front porch. He had just gotten back from a tour in South Korea (he said when he walked on the street people would chase after him shouting "She Gone! She Gone!). After asking me who the eff I was (probably thought I was a deranged fanboy) I helped him carry his stuff upstairs, and he led me up into the attic where he had one of the most impressive guitar collections I've ever seen. After he settled in, he treated us to a 12-string acoustic version of "I'll Never Let You Go" right there in the living room. I was blown away. What a talent! We had pizza in a local park, and he told us stories about touring with Journey and INXS, and also talked about how quickly success and money came, and how quickly all that fizzled out. A real decent human being and down-to-Earth guy. When I asked him what he was doing when he wasn't touring, he said he was writing country songs, because they were so easy to write.

Singer is Miljenko Matijević..... One of the big tragedies of their period. A light rack fell and hit the singer in the head. The band split and if Im right, didnt reunite until the last 10 yrs or something. Great singer. Slid over into the shadows bc of an accident.

He didn't die from that. He's still alive today. I actually saw him on tour with The Doors singing for them back in like 2010...

Yeah, the problem was they showed up right at the very end of hair metal. Nirvana's "Nevermind" was released in '89 and, by '90, hair metal was dead and grunge ruled the world. I remember Steelheart and a couple of other talented bands showing up briefly and then, for most folk, seemingly falling off the face of the planet. As a teen, that was my first lesson in the brutality of trends and timing in the entertainment industry.

Steelheart is from my hometown of Norwalk, CT - got to see them at local venues in the late 80's before they became famous (and went by the name Red Alert). Check out "I'll Never Let You Go'" - my favorite. Enjoy your ride on the Steelheart train!

If you think he can belt it out in this song, you ain’t seen nothing yet. To reach the high notes, he bends back nearly in half. It’s amazing! Please play their “I’ll never let you go”. It represents the love of my life. This was his song to me. We grew up together, drifted apart, became reacquainted when I was 49, and fell in love. One night we were talking on the phone and he had a heart attack and died while on the phone with me. Thank God I have the song!

I never heard of this Rock band until last week. One of my friend on Facebook posted the Steelheart video of this song She's Gone. Amazing voice & absolutely cool Rock group. I wish they were big like other Rock group from the 80s & the 90s. Now I want to know where can I buy a Steelheart jacket, cd & t-shirts. Omg what a voice. Thumbs up for Steelheart.

Great great reaction!!!! B4 Dimash there was Steelheart 🥰. The singer can still hit these notes today. Even after a horrendous accident he had that broke the band up. the “unplugged” acoustic version of this song, will blow you away even more.but in their hit “I will never let you go” the singer goes higher bending backwards 🤨

Amber - I love your plaid shirt. I would have worn it at your age too, and funny, but each of those plaids was a part of a particular outfit worn at some very special moments in my own life... made me laugh in a very good way as I saw it and immediately thought, "oh, look! Miljenko Matijević is the lead singers name, he was born in Croatia. 30 some years later, he can STILL hit those notes... He can't hold them very long now, but can still hit them

You also need to react to "I'll Never Let You Go" and "Can't Stop Loving You". Those are two more amazing songs from Steelheart. The band rock's and the lead singers voice is amazing.

Rob. The singers name is Miljenko Matijevic. He is amazing. You need to listen to their biggest hit I will never let you go. His vocal range is even higher on that song. Also listen to the acoustic version of She's gone. Love you guys and as a musician I really love seeing you both get to experience some of the greatest music from the past to present. Alsso Chicago in Tulsa March 5th.

The "highest " vocal range in rock, no cap! He's an American guy given a traditional Polish name. The family has given you the next reaction, I Never Let You Go, is their bigger hit you'll like it too I think. This song is a good one too though. AGR guys! 🤙😎
