‼️Im a xbox user What i come to find in the time i had my 9x is that if u lower the mic volume in the steelseries app to less than half way u eliminate the background noise i passed this out to a friend on pc he said he had this problem so i shared this tip and hes good now ‼️

I got these today. Music sounds better on these than some headphones that cost double and I can't believe I'm even saying this. It's less scooped with more mids than a lot of the brands you see advertising high end sound. Mic works great and retracts so you don't look like a fool if you're just listening to tunes. Cable is detachable so you don't need to worry if you rip it apart. I got them for 80 CAD on Amazon taxes in, and I will probably make it all back by selling off higher end headphones that I no longer really need.

@@RM50507 There's always gonna be better. Remember, this nova 1 is made for a budget. Some people, myself included, either really don't care about spending an insane amount of money for over the top quality, or just don't currently have room in their budget for that kind of spending. Of course nova is gonna be inferior to others, but it isn't being marketed for being #1 highest quality of all time, is it?

I bought a Turtle Beach PX22 Pro back in 2014 and have been using it til this year. So after 10 years, time for a new headset. Because that TB headset was so good for me, but I feel like it's time for a new one. This is one of the headsets I saw right away when looking it up. My nephew uses the Nova 1P's with his PS5 and said he likes the sound quality and his friends say the mic quality is better than any previous headsets he was using so that's a bonus, I tried them on my PC with music, pc has a headphone amp connected (Douk U3 Mini w/ Muses 8920 Op amp installed) and I was like ok that's actually not bad, decent frequency range even with lower bass extension and the physical volume dial is a nice touch.

I love that they have a detachable cable because cabels are also deteriorating in time an oance they broke u have to change the hole headset.

I bought these and my friends were saying the mic is quiet. All sound settings were correct and the only fix was using the Sonar GG software to enable compression that then fixed the issue. Is there something I maybe missed? I expected the mic to work just out of the box, but needing the app to make the mic work is pretty disappointing

Eh might change from Arctic 5 to either Nova 1 or 3.... I'm over the USB channel mixer with the Arctic 5 because the cord from the mixer to the headphone constantly becomes twisted. Find SS software bloated too, analogue perhaps might be the way to go. Hmm

I'm using the 1X, (xbox variant) and for some reason I'm having this issue where my entire console, audio and all, stutters for a second or two when the headset connects to it. (headset assigned notification pops up, along with the audio, stuttering) I'm not sure if this is an issue with the headset, the console, or if this is an issue with Bluetooth headphones on the series X in general

So which would you recommend between the Nova 3 and Nova 1 to someone playing only on a Xbox therefore only needing the 3.5mm connection. I'm assuming the Nova 1 since the RGB doesn't work via 3.5mm cable nor justify the price difference to most people. Plus that white colorway looks incredible on the Nova 1.

The USB also allows you to connect them to the GG software which lets you adjust the microphone volume and sidetone levels. More importantly, it lets you load different EQ profiles, including customer profiles onto the headset to use on console.

I'm thinking of buying this one but I have a question to anyone using this. I've been running through some headsets, trying them out and I need to ask any xbox users in parties with friends. with the Nova 1x, does it ever create any party echos? I'm currently using the Razer Kraken V3 Pro and using it with a dongle creates party echo and my only way to fix that to the most is just lowering my gain audio but then it screws with my gameplay.

I took the razer headset back, I had to unplug and plug them back to get the sound back right. I’ve taken back many other ones to but when I got to the nova 1 it was a lock for me. These are to me the best for Xbox

Hi I am having a problem with this headset I’ve had mine for over 2 months now and it’s started to have problems such as when I use the mute feature it won’t really work as my friends can still hear me quietly this is on PlayStation but I think this is a headset issue any idea what it is?
