I just ordered a pair to replace my JbL headset which I love JBL but I do alot of rp so was looking for something new....I'm never good at all the extra things but it sounds good enough for me.. I look for comfort and good Audio over lighting etc..great review thank you..

Does a regular USB C to Aux 3.5 mm cord work? My original steel series cord broke and I’ve tried replacing it but the sound won’t work

Since the RGB doesn't work when connected via 3.5mm cable which would you say is the better headset for a Xbox gamer between the Nova 1 and Nova 3. I watched both of your reviews and I just don't see the advantage of the 3 unless you need RGB or USB connector

Hi! It depends on if the RGB is a priority feature for you. They are practically the same headset but the RGB is a huge feature on the Nova 3 👍🏻

the nova 1 and 3 sound identical but the Nova 3 allows you to load different EQ presets into it via the GG software. So if you don't like how they sound out of the box (the flat profile) you can change this. You also have control over the mic settings, like sidetone and volume.

@@goukigod ...So if I make a custom EQ on the Nova 3 will that save on it and work on console? If so that just may sway my decision to the 3.

@@clawson32104 Correct. You can make your own custom EQ profile, or select from a handful of pre-made ones that you load onto the headset via the software.

It may not work with certain connections, have you connected it to a PC using the same method I did in the video?

the only bad thing is it has too many device settings it can fck up your sound creates too many decises like AUX, GAMING, MEDIA, ect and that fucks up your PC . For example youtube video sound is normal but when you turn on your game there is no sound. Default settings are too quiet. Every time you have to look for devide that works on your game and keep switching until you find that it works.

how many times can i drop them? cause... thats currently been my problem with headsets. i get a new pair. i drop them like 3 times. they break and i have to buy a new headset. to be fair, ive been cycling through logitechs line of budget headsets. but still. i need to know. will they break off 1 contact.

If you have problem with dropping headsets, I'd recommend you to buy SPC Gear Viro Plus (now rebranded do ENDOFY Viro Plus). The mic is absolutely amazing, the sound is very good too. I have dropped them a countless times, sometimes the falls were... really hard, which would be FATAL to any other headsets. Many times my chair pulled the wire so hard that it plugged off (thankfully, because it's not built in) and after plugging it back in there was no harm made. From my experience they are really solid, I don't think many other headsets would survive falls such as that. One small thing, even the microphone is unbreakable - after it gets REALLY wet (wet as for, for example, putting it into your mouth to be "funny" or accidentally spill some tea on it), it just gets really quiet for the rest of the day or at least a few hours. After that it comes back to normal and sounds as good as it did before. Would recommend

@@ItzHonor Wanted the nova 7 but ended up going for nova 3 because of price and the seller I was buying from said the nova 7's dongle is missing (even though he claims it's brand new)😂😂 After 6 months of using nova 3, I recommend you go for nova 7 (your choice)

My cousin bought these headphones, bought me a pair too but I am not able to hook them up. I don’t know how I have an Xbox S the manual to give instructions on how to hook them up just a diagram that’s it I don’t get much in the phone number in the back of the book is that a service no longer exists so you can’t call customer service for assistance and you can’t get funny and videos on KZfaq, or not explaining how to hook them up and programmed them that’s kind of stupid I don’t know why it’s so freaking hard hook up a pair air phones when you can’t find nothing to hook them up to how to hook them up is what I meant. All these videos show is the reviews and I said, I don’t Joe, except by step how to how to hook him up, I don’t give a crap about the damn reviews. I wanna know how to hook them up I want the instructions. What’s the hard to give them? Anybody knows how to hook them up please let me know.

Use USB c (headphone/output side) to 3.5 mm (input side) into your controller jack. You could also use USB C to USB C (check input output sides) if you are sitting close to Xbox
