I’m a younger listener but I love steely dan. I understand the lyrics actually and I love his music for the actual music and the complexity of his work

MY MOM, MY UNCLE LATER IN LIFE WORKED FOR CAPITAL RECORDS. ANYWAY THEY SMOKE AND LISTEN TO MUSIC. I WAS 13 WHEN THIS CAME OUT. LOVED IT FIRST TIME I HEAR IT. AND A MAN OF COLOR.
