I support ederson but there are plenty of times where he could have dove to save or he didn’t have the best placement in order to make a save that should have been made as well as not being as good with 1v1s at times either he’s not that good of a sporadic diver and that’s what he lakes a lot imagine if he made the effort to just dive and take the chance to make sure the ball doesn’t go in

City play good possession but it’s also like they play cuz they don’t have as much trust in his ability to make a save when needed to like they aren’t as comfortable with him at times

Ederson is good but not a shot stopper his best attributes is distribution which is good but in a decisive moment he doesn't come on top and the cleansheets it's because of the defense and he had the lowest save percentage ratio

@@el_gringo9211 It's intensive. You can't expect him to win every duel all of the time. Even with a great defence you still have to make saves: look at Alisson with Liverpool, he still makes plenty of stops 1v1. Potentially the lower save percentage is because he's had to make fewer saves due to the defence, meaning that when he does make an error people pounce on it more

@@IsaacWong116 when it comes to goalkeepers....every millimeter counts tho it doesn't mean that a short keeper is worse than a tall keeper bt it definitely hinders the aerial competition between them.....that's why chelsea's mendy has a ease with saves because he is very tall and thus even if he has low jumping power,he can reach places with ease coz of his height.....short keepers tend to work more hard to cover the areas under goal while tall keepers have no problem with covering

Joe hart was better on 1v1 but ederson has edge on positioning and passes. Joe Hart also has 4 golden gloves. If city wanted a 2nd keeper to just play FA cup and Carabao cup then they could have kept him in team but oh well Claudio Bravo.

Come of it he conceded the fewer goals than any other team in the league. As for the aforementioned games could he have done better? Possibly, but I’m questioning why Bowen was through on goal in the first place, why cash was allowed a free header and none of the goals at madrid were his fault yes he could have done better with Rodrygo when it was right at him bud those goals were primarily poor defending.

Our average possession this season was just under 70% I’d rather have a keeper who doesn’t loose the ball like Allison is prone to than have a shot stopper for stopping 1 or 2 shots a game.

@@brandonmasters8996 i think he will be the number two in the beginning but eventually it will better if he can complete with ederson. Ederson is a good goalkeeper but his shot stopping is not great compared to Alisson and he has become too comfortable.
