Stellar blade demo came out for a moment before being removed from the playstation marketplace. I was lucky enough to download it before it got taken down so here's a early look at what to expect. I was pretty throrough and i'll be doing a follow up video on my full thoughts once I play more!

25:19 Shift Up already said this game is taking the same approach as their main mobile game Goddess of Victory: Nikke for the on point Storytelling, World building, Character design and Music. For the other inspirations they mentioned: God War, Devil May Cry(probably 3,4 and 5), The Bayonetta trilogy and Nier Automata(Shift Up’s Stellar Blade actually got the approval from Yokko Taro himself). And they reach out and actually hired Keiichi Okabe, Yokko Taro’s best friend and Nier Franchise Main composer to make the music for this(their first AAA ) game... Stellar Blade.

Combat is good, but not mind breaking, dont misunderstand me, is a good game, but it wont save the industry, already even when gamers want it, it is clear, wont win game of year because reasons, but is the best game i have seen in time, because it gives what many want a fun game, a good combat, not the most complex, but good, and being a demo, for being a demo functions well, is a pity that there are not more like these, outside mobile

I was pretty surprised that there are not only swimming mechanics but also underwater mechanics. I was half expecting the developers doing something like Nier Replicant, with Eve not being able to swim and being picked on for it every time she falls in the water.

I pre-ordered this without an PS5 device and I'm really looking forward to it. The demo videos that were posted were all in English, so I was wondering what it would be like in Korean, but thank you for playing it with Korean voice.

Tachy was crossing blades with Eve in the combat trailer and we didn't see her corpse here, so it's about as good as confirmed she isn't dead.

Love the design of the post-apo world and the enemies although there is something strange about fighting, it's not so dynamic and satisfying as in FF7R, but I think it is something you got to use to.

Good character design aside, the game looks amazing graphically as a whole. Not to mention, the music and gameplay are top-notch. I'm very much excited to see how the story of this game will play out.

Dude, I’m loving both that side dodge and the backflip dodge. Flashy and effective…yet need to be timed right and used in the right context…just like a proper Souls-like! Blended with the DNA of DMC5 and Nier Automata, of course. I know the term Souls-like is played out for a lot of people, but I mean it in the most complimentary fashion. F**king awesome game we got here!

Combat seems to be more akin to bloodbourne / souls with some bayonetta dna in there rather than your DMCs and the like, which probably explains why it feels like there’s slowdown when a hit connects. Usually in your hack and slash games there is no slow down at all and you’re just whaling on em like in DMC, enemies feel like butter (and it’s intended with the game design and I love it for that). Can’t wait for the demo to officially release but for now I’m just watching videos and analysing it from there :D

오히려 묵직함이 더 좋은것 같습니다 패링 시스템이 도입이 되어서요 스킬이야 해방되면서 더 스타일리쉬하고 빠른템포로 바뀔것 같아요 베요네타나 데 메크같은 전투는 정신사납고 너무 빠른템포다 보니 아무생각없이 몰아치는 전투에 어울리지요

You always do have to wonder what kind of marketing plans some companies have. For this cause I really do think it just got launched early by accident. After beating the demo you get a highlight reel with new footage, dont think they'd just want that out there unannoucned.
