They did a Great job pacing the abilities in this game. After 20 hours you think you have seen it all then boom double jump then burst skills then the last awesome skill tree I won’t spoil. I wish more games gave you cool stuff like that instead of getting almost all your skills by the middle of the game.

The great desert one by the solar tower messed me up way more than this one. It got into the meth stash or something.

I think I finally get why Stellar Blade's combat was a little underwhelming to me... the on-hit effects are a little too subtle. It's very hard to tell if you've landed a successful 'normal' attack and it doesn't activate that dopamine hit as much as a spectacle fighter like Bayonetta or DMC. Even that big counterattack after a blue-spark dodge lacks oomph. The gameplay is fine, it's just the UX that's a bit lacking. If it comes to Steam I wonder if mods can fix that? The attack, block and counter skill effects are all great, just the regular on-hit effects are weirdly lacking.
