This Stellar Blade review is a must-watch for anyone considering picking up the game or wanting to know more. I played 30 hours of Stellar Blade and have MANY thoughts. Lets talk about what I came across from combat, open world, story, progression and side quests and that dreaded difficulty curve. Enjoy!

I got it last week played for a couple hours game is great, only enmy could be better balanced , normal enemies are easy and bosses are very hard on normal mode

I adored the combat in FFVII Rebirth. I wonder how Stellar Blade will fare. Demo was fun!

Thank you very much for this review; it's nice to see someone trying to be as neutral as possible in their judgment. You point out the good and bad aspects. I feel this game has created two extremes. Some people tend to try to find qualities in things they like that objectively aren't there. There is no problem in liking games with flaws, since we all play video games for different reasons. In some aspects, the game really appeals to me, like the combat and the few puzzles it offers. However, on the other hand, the plot and character writing are far too important to me. So, I'm torn, maybe it's too expensive compared to the enjoyment I'll get from playing this game. I'll wait until it's available at a lower price one day.

Couldnt disagree more got a copy early. I would give it a 9. The only thing I would say is use the korean voice acting and English subtitles. Makes a big difference.

Agree with this completely with an early copy. This review is the exact opposite of what I thought and felt after ~35 hours.

Agreed. The Korean VA is much better & does a better job expressing the emotions of the characters than the EN counterparts.

I just loved to play this game. Its beautifull, its intense, its sexy! The story is...well, is what it is (the robot singer sub story is just beautifull i must say) but the action and the somehow souls like look and feel for me just qualified it in the top 10 of the year, easy, easy....well done shiftup!

Great review. Everyone is so HARD on (pun intended) for this game to succeed, just cuz THEY love it, so they want everyone else to love it. Thank you for standing out and being honest with your review. It ain't for you like it is for everyone else, and that's cool. I fall in line with your review. I played it, and it was just... ok. I'm not gonna 🍆 ride this game like most. It's cool. That's your perogative if you're ALL about Stellar Blade. Play the game. Enjoy it 🫡. But this review makes some strong, valid points that some gamers will appreciate, saving them a buck. Sparing them from wasting their time if they were on the fence about buyin it to begin with. It's a decent game, but it ain't for everyone.

I walked away from the demo thinking it was only just OK. Nothing I haven’t seen done better by other games. It really does seem te be a jack of all trades master of none type of game.

So combat is good but you found the environment a little meh and performance likewise. Fighting Cowboy loved the game. Cmmon Norzza, be more fair. It looks like you want to pick on everything for the sake of picking on everything. And if the puzzles are hard, then is not the puzzles fault, you mean what I'm saying? ;)

Playing the game in its native tongue Korean you get a better sense of the emotions & acting with the characters than you do with the english dub. Like you said it may have been in how the actors were directed but i do highly recommend the Korean VA if you want a better experience.

I played half through but lost interest because its always the same. Its a me problem after 1000s of hours in souls games….I cannot play those games anymore. The huge desert in Stellar Blade was bland boring and ugly as hell. What a chore.

Really disappointed with the enemies scaling so you don't feel impact of gear upgrades, ill skip it. Thanks for the great review

It’s not an RPG. So, if you’re just expecting to increase damage numbers and HP, this game won’t be for you. It’s in line with games like Sekiro, DMC, Bayonetta, etc. I.e; upgrades mostly come from your skill tree

Its a great game. I will say most of the enemies are the same claw like slash type beast, but leveling up comes easily without farming. She is insanely sexy af too
