Such a beautiful boat .. I would love to have it in my lounge room, just to look at and admire. Anyways I love my Stellar S14, later I will migrate to the multisport S16 magic boat. :-) Without a doubt, Excellent products made with perfection and quality. Cheers

Does this boat come in a low volume model for smaller paddlers ( 115 pounds ) ?

Looks fast. May have to consider this for my next boat, but I'm wondering how fragile it would be compared with a theromoform kayak.

Since I wrote the comment 2 years ago, I purchased a Stellar Intrepid; about 17 feet long, light, and narrow. No problems so far with the Advantage layup and it's lighter than my 14.5 foot Eddyline Sitka. I have had the chance to paddle the S18S and think something like that or an Epic V8 may be my next boat...If I can make room in the garage. @@Mr.Bryan1234

@@n-da-bunka2650 No, I bought a Stellar with the ADVANTAGE layup. Same weight at the Multisport, but stiffer. At this point, I've had it for a year now. I already had an Eddyline thermoform kayak. I'm not aware of Stellar making thermoform kayaks; pretty sure they don't. Here's a description of the Advantage layup from Stellar's website: Advantage- This laminate is Soric cored fiberglass with a gelcoat exterior, making is stiffer and lighter than the Sport, but also at a good price point. This laminate has better performance than the Sport, but also similar toughness and ability to absorb some abuse. This is our most popular boat for touring and entry level surf skis for its combination of durability, stiffness, weight and price.

Beautifully designed craft but, the round bottom hull is a non starter for me. I owned a round bottom Current Designs. A bit of an advantage in rough seas but, worse in every other category.

Keith, the soft chines also reduce the surface area compared to hard chines, so you will have less drag and a higher hull speed.

About $5,000 but you can find demos for around $4K in the multiSport design seen here.

@@DontStealMyFish Eddyline (US), Delta (Canada), P&H (UK), all of which are considerably cheaper in cost, and have hip pads!
