Keep the paddle in the water if you want to feel more stable when standing still

I’m landlocked like you, but just discovered surf skis and am fascinated. I paddle a 14 foot Perception kayak with about a 21 inch width. The Stellar is beautiful. Thanks for the review, very helpful. Btw, good job Ben!

Thanks for the comment! Surfskis are a great deal of fun and they will definitely help you improve your skills and allow you to go faster. The only problem is once you enjoy that speed and efficiency there is no turning back.

you should always keep your paddle on the water and bracing.

Absolutely agree. I was merely trying to demonstrate the stability for the camera rather than actually brace. I thought it would give the viewer a better understanding of the "tippiness" of the boat.
