Any driver would be upset when you put them in the wall. Look at it on replay, Kyle was clearly there, and Ricky just discarded him and put him in the wall. His front flap even came out. So I can understand his frustration and then, when he spun Ricky, he overcorrected it and crashed himself…. It was supposed to be a spin. He was supposed to go around and because of his own stupidity of over correcting it, he crashed the car himself.

@@bostonwarrior4824 Busch put himself in the wall. Stenhouse room- there was more space between the 8 and the 47 than there was between the 47 and the 11 to the inside. Busch was just mad he got beat on the start and blew the corner. Not surprised a legendary lunkhead like Busch would blame someone else. Stenhouse wouldn't have had to correct at all if Busch hadn't hit him twice. It's the second lap of an exhibition and Busch decided to ruin the 47 team's night when they were lucky to be there at all.

As viewers, fans, and spectators, we tend to forget that you can't be better than your equipment. All the greats in NASCAR, and F1 have been in top tier equipment at some point in their career. And that's when they shined because they made the most of the opportunity. I don't see Kyle Busch winning as often as he used to, I haven't see Lewis Hamilton win a race in over 2 years. The greats like Jeff Gordon, and Jimmie Johnson were with top tier team till the day they retired. They didn't have to go through what Kyle Busch has to go through at this point in his career. We just love glorifying drivers without acknowledging how much depends on the cars themselves.

Also we should consider how, in years past, Kyle could make the car great throughout a practice session. So few races even have a practice session anymore. But it years past Kyle has shown that he definitely has what it takes in mechanical knowledge to make his car go fast to his liking. But, now NASCAR has taking the drivers ability to adjust the car pre-race out of the equation.

The track raced well. They did a good job with the repave.Multiple grooves passing was possible. New tire did not play out as a expected. I think it highlighted the same problem that has always been there. Lack of damn horsepower. By the end of the race they were running the highline keeping momentum up. 1000 Horsepower will promote tire degradation And passing. It just needs to happen already.

I agree that Ricky had every right to be pissed at Kyle and swing on him, but I think you’re dead wrong when you defend the actions of his crew members. Two crews want to go at it, fine. Two drivers get in a fight, great. But multiple crew members attacking a driver, especially as he’s going to the ground, is unacceptable. Defending your driver and attacking another driver are two totally different things. Bush got what he deserved from Stenhouse, but beyond that I believe his crew members that jumped Kyle after should be suspended and or find.

While watching the Darlington race did everyone say, "Boy this sure would have been more awesome if Brad had just easily passed Reddick and drove away from him on that restart, then we wouldn't have to watch them smash doors giving Buescher a chance to pull a crazy 3-wide move for the lead, and we wouldn't have to sit through Reddick trying a dumb dive-bomb on Buescher."

2022’s two years ago now. The wheels can fall off quickly. Jimmie won Dover in 2017 and then had his Pocono crash the following week, and he never won again. As a Kyle fan I’ve never seen him make so many mistakes the way he has this year. That Jimmie comparison is actually fitting for this scenario. Kyle still has occasional speed but can’t put it together on a consistent basis anymore. I’d be shocked if he’s still with RCR in 2026.
@bostonwarrior4824

@@camdenluca kind of a weird comparison since Kyle hasn’t gotten in to any crashes that affect his performance. He’s made some mistakes this year, but don’t forget his pit Crew has brought him down a ton. Losing spots on pit road costly penalties you could go on…and the cars aren’t even good. RCR has an organization have underperformed really bad, especially since the next Gen car came. I mean even in 2019 they weren’t this bad Ryan Newman a few years before that brought them in the playoffs almost every year, and consistent every race. Even Austin Dillion was better. Now he’s struggling to even finish ahead of Kyle. They aren’t even a vital Chevy team anymore…There are so many other teams ahead of them that are so much better. I don’t know what they need to do to fix it but they are just not competitive and it is not Kyle’s fault he’s getting old and making mistakes makes mistakes it’s beating him cause his cars sucks. On top of that being run into on lap two tonight that just adds insult to injury. I would love to see him go to Hendrick and take over the 48.
