Thanks for the feedback! I definitely would like to find a good way to do more in depth artwork. I want to get some of the basics in to start, or im afraid it may be alot for beginners to swallow.

Really informal video. I'd watch more. I just picked up a Power Bead roller. I'm just jumping in and looking for as much info for a bigger to soak up the machine. I'm a welder and fabricator I'd just really like to do more of the body panel and sheet metal work for engine bays along with some decorative art stuff to learn.

Hi Steve, Great video, thank you for making it and sharing. 👍 I've just bought a manual bead roller for some panels I have to make for the classic car build. I am a total novice as far as this skill is concerned. I do not have a table with my roller and I will be rolling steel. Do you think the same principle will work for me as regards producing a distortion free panel. I also plan to service my "new to me" roller as it feels a very slightly notchy. Kind regards Paul from 48 Spokes 🇬🇧

Great video. Any future videos you might consider using video fast forward more to tighten up the video length. The background audio was good but could be a little lower gain.

Thanks Glenn. We let this one get a little longer since there was a good deal of information, but I agree. I am trying to find a happy medium between timeliness and plenty of information.

Love your videos and the work you do on the Facebook, "I love Bead Rolling" thread. Did you space out the upper and lower dies? Thanks.

Yes I did on the later passes. That will give you that nice "rolled" edge as opposed to more of a hard cornered "step"

I found a 24" billet Jamey Jordan w/ adj. upper, table, & the industrial VS motor for $1600 that had only been used twice..... Now I'm trying to find out which dies I need to get..... If I go with the Eastwood motorized set they are around $400 for 10 of the more Popular dies.... Or would you recommend I get the Art Roll Kit from MB?? Thanks for the Info and teaching us Newbie's how to do this....

The dies are mittler brothers item number 202-089. Die spacing, I do alot of it by feel, but I usually start just a little wider than the material thickness (.063" here), then move wider one adjuster turn at a time typically. Hope this helps!
