Step by Step Loose Blue Cornflower Watercolor Tutorial

Күн бұрынToday I'll be painting loose blue cornflower in a loose style. I haven't done flower paintings for a while, and it's so much fun especially in this style that I don't often paint in. I hope the steps are easy enough to follow, and have fun painting along to this one! Happy painting!

Brush: Holbein Black Resable size 6, Giorgione Detailing Brush size 5 (synthetic)
Paper: Canson Montval 300gsm (cut into postcard size)
COLOURS
Olive Green Holbein

Interesting (and fun) technique…I love the soft to fine texture progression. Thanks for showing your “flubs” - AND how to deal with them. Gives me confidence that I don’t have to be perfect, practice makes progress. ☺️. Thanks Nia.

This is so goood. .. you explain really well ,.. I have been using watercolors for more than a year but I've never seen such good layers in my paintings as I saw after I followed ur tutorial .... You are a great artist. .. you have helped me to improve layering .. already have done 3 of ur paintings and they are awesome

Hi! I do like the idea of selling my painting, but I'm juggling between living in 2 continents... so it's quite difficult already to keep up with youtube :( anything more than what I do is sort of just at the back of my head....
