Nice job. It's my understanding that if the exhaust is facing forward, the intense airflow can go down the pipe and spin the "something" inside, and ruin or damage the engine, so I always cover the exhaust. One time I used duct tape and it took the paint off, so since then I put a bucket over them and secure them with a bungee. I've seen some drivers use a bucket-like item that's made of leather...doesn't scratch. I appreciate your videos. They're a constant reminder to the "what" and "what nots"....thx.

Yep, that duct tape on the exhaust pipes are called a "turbo saver". We cover those pipes to keep wind from spinning the turbos and burning them out.

I just delivered there a couple weeks ago (the trailers load delivery) haha! I don't know if you've been there recently but they've got a new way of unloading them. They still use a forklift but they have like a steel rig on the forks with hook chains on four corners. My load was pretty much the same, big puzzle of trailers.

I believe you said your from Texas. Were you ever a company driver at Prime while living in Texas? If so, how was it getting home time? How often? Was it a lot of dead heading to and from home? Is there freight available out of and to Texas through Prime? Moving out of California and moving east. Texas is in the top 3 states we are looking at. Thanks in advance.

It’s not bad Texas is big state lots of loads in and out..usually not to much dead heading

Question?? I’m trying to buy a truck but I don’t know if to go automatic or manual? All the driving I’ve done is automatic, but I want to go over the road have a few companies already waiting on me to buy the truck. I’m not sure if going over the road with manual having no experience driving it would be the right thing? What do you guys think @Randee Lewis
@RandeeLewis6 жыл бұрын
+David Lopez it's ur choice..if u can't drive manual good then go with automatic...but whatever u feel comfortable in will be ur choice
