A point guard's primary role is to create points, either by scoring or assists. Rebounds and steals are a bonus. Using that measure, here are the top five statistically (minimum 500 games; regular season only): 1. Magic: Averaged 41.9 pts per game through scoring and assists. Also averaged 7.2 rebounds and 1.9 steals. 2. Iverson: 39.1 pts/game; 3.7 rebounds; 2.2 steals 3. Curry: 37.3 pts/game; 4.7 rebounds; 1.6 steals 4. Chris Paul: 36.1 pts/game; 4.5 rebounds; 2.1 steals 5. Stockton: 34.1 pts/game; 2.7 rebounds; 2.2 steals Had I gone back a little further, Jerry West would have been No. 2 on the list (40.4/5.8/2.6), which is pretty impressive given it was before the 3-point shot. Also, Luka Doncic would rank No. 1 (44.3/8.5/1.1) except for the fact he's only played in 360+ games. Of course, fans can argue about the impact of including post-season stats, and how to weight regular vs. post-season stats, or how much championship rings should count, or other awards, or how many shots are considered "clutch" (which is pretty subjective). But these stats should be a good starting point.

Steph is amazing as we all know ,but lets be realistic - warriors are 11-14 and out of playoff position and for good reasons !! They needed a great clutch steph performance (one he prob wont be able to pull of night in night out ..) to barely beat an ok eastern conf' team .. if they don't improve defensively and fast , they might not make the playoffs for the first time ever since klay and steph play together ( not including klay's 2 year injuries ...)

The organization is wasting Curry's prime. Very disappointing recent trades, then theres Draymond. I think realistically, Curry has two more years max of playing at this high level. If they don't bring in a few big names, then that's it for the dynasty.😢
