Thank you for your pure reaction to Forestella! Before saying about the story of the song, I just wanna recommend you Unwritten Legend (or Like Someone in Legend) by Forestella. You can see the bird singing from them. It's in Korean but the song has English Version with English lyrics.

I bring some stories of this song for you. I don't remember from where but what I've read was this is a song from a ghost (soul) of a dead soldier. He asked the herbs growing on his dead body to deliver his message to his beloved girl in Scarborough Fair where was a big herb market. He asked the herbs to tell her impossible task like "Tell her to make me a cambric shirt without no seams nor needle work" to make her give up waiting for his coming back as he's already unable as he's dead. Forestella sang like as messengers of this sad and beautiful story. Also there are symbols those herbs significated: parsley for comfort or to remove bitterness, sage for strength, thyme for courage, rosemary for love. There's some speculation that these four herbs were used in a tonic of some sort to remove curses. What I first heard was to remove memories..so I thought he (the dead soldier) wanted to remove the memory about him from his girl to make her not mourning for him any more. BTW I found those herbs cannot be grown in same areas in fact while on my researching for English references.. so it could be just for remembering recipe for turkey seasoning ingredients, too.

저의 최애무대중하나입니다 물론 곡자체가 명곡이기도 하지만 포레스텔라 네분의 음색과 화음으로 환상적이고 신비로운 분위기를 좀더 극적으로 표현해낸것 같네요 역시 곡해석에 있어 너무나 탁월한 포레스텔라의 무대 앞으로도 많이 올려주세요~~♡♡

...there is nothing more bitter than to mourn from the other side of a love that you can never hug again - that's what the lyrics are about. ...and there is nothing more beautiful and fragile than having this pain brought to you by these 4 white angels singing in such an incomparably beautiful way. I keep watching the video and listening to the song from time to time - and each time the universe seems to pause for a moment while I want to cry and laugh at the same time because it's so beautiful and innocent. And I can understand anyone who feels a bit like me.

포레스텔라 해외 리액션은 영어노래가 대부분이지만 포레 우리말 노래도 많이 했어요^^ 야상곡 야생화 곤드레만드레 마법의성 전설속의 누군가처럼 바람의 노래 라젠카 세이브어스 좋은걸 어떡해 나 가거든 신라의 달밤 내 영혼 바람되어.. 너무 많아서 다 못 적겠네요.. 오리지널 곡중 바람이 건네준 말 서정적이고 가사도 너무 좋고요, 랩 다른분이 피쳐링 들어간 One Love를 콘서트에선 직접 랩을 합니다. 콘서트 팬캠 찾아보시면 콘서트 회차가 늘어날수록 발전하는 원럽 보실 수 있습니다ㅎㅎ

한국어 자막만 넣으시면 한국인들 유입 정말 많이 되실듯요. 저도 요즘 포레스텔라 찾아보면서 겸사겸사 보고 있는데 개인적으로 BTS와 소향의 효과라는 생각을 하네요. 동기부여가 되며 정말 열심히 하는 사람들이 성공하는 걸 보고 우리도 그걸 하고 싶다..... 포레스텔라 정말 정말 열심히 하는 듯요. 포레스텔라의 음악에는 감동이 있어요.
