Love the movies selected here!! And I just need to make a sidenote as a former Mortician and Funeral Director. But for Autopsy of Jane Doe, the father and son are forensic pathologists/medical examiners. They are the ones that do autopsies and not Funeral Directors. The more you know 😁

Hi Stephanie. Happy October 🎃👻 Great video and film recommendations. Byzantium is on my list after our livestream over the weekend. I absolutely love The Craft, one of my favorites for so many years. I'm really tempted to pickup the 4K of The Exorcist - watched it for the first time in a long time this year and it is still so so scary. Ginger Snaps is one of my favorite horror film discoveries of the year. I still need to watch The Wicker Man (hopefully this month). I have been a horror fanatic since I was 5 years old and I am 54 now. It is very hard to find a channel that actually shows films that I love and are in my taste. I have to say you are the very first and I'm so glad you popped up in my feed. 🎉🎉 Very happy that you do foreign horror as well as I am a huge fan

I do a little bit of everything through the year but I do continue to keep horror content in the rotation just because I really enjoy it. I've been such a fan of Haunt, which was originally a streaming only movie. It took a few years for it to build a following and has finally gotten a proper Blu-ray release. I remember one year I watched Haunt after you did an unboxing of it and you gave it a lot of praise. I really loved it and it just goes to show there are a lot of really great horror movies out there that don't get a lot of attention but are such a treasure when you find them! Thank you for your work on this video, Stephanie. I've already sent the link to a couple of friends while watching. And as a middle ages Queer Horror fanatic, your choices were awesome. My favorite over all film of all time is "An American Werewolf in London" (1981). What Landis did mixing horror and comedy made some of the grislier scenes more palatable. And of course that soundtrack is brilliant. I have the regular Blu-Ray edition, and the extra's are so great. Thanks again, from a new subscriber. I can't wait for more content. Be safe out there.

Great video Stephanie! I'm kinda a lightweight when it comes to horror. For some reason and I don't know why, but I like Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter. I did kick things off yesterday by watching Paranorman and the Mad Monster Party. I got the Blu-ray of Mad Monster Party with the slipcover after seeing you show it on the weekly live. I have some recommendations for thriller and even older black and white films that are more dramas/thrillers than horror. Definitely want to see Talk To Me. Cobweb has been getting quite the hype. I enjoyed Haunt. The Houses October Built I couldn't get into. I've only seen the remake of Let The Right One In. The Craft is classic & has held up beautifully. Loved Ginger Snaps! Still need to see the original Wicker Man. I didn't know Bone Tomahawk was part horror. Autopsy of Jane Doe is definitely creepy. Agree on all points made on The Dark & The Wicked. Very atmospheric. Really enjoyed it. That twist in High Tension...unexpected. The Innocents I have saved on shudder. Need to watch soon. Been years since I've watched The Ring. Use to scare me bad as a kid. Pearl then X is how I'd watch them too. I've been wanting to see The Voices. American Mary is great! Enjoyed The Devils Candy. Just got Oculus. Will probably give it a watch this month. I need to see Suspiria. Train To Busan is such a awesome zombie flick. Easily one of my faves. So many great picks. Several I already had saved to my wishlist, but definitely added a couple. Thanks Stephanie!

Hey friend. Thanks so much for checking out the video. I really appreciate it. Oh yeah, Bone Tomahawk is mostly a Western but some brutal horror/violence. There's one scene where I actually have to turn away. I think you'll really enjoy the original Wicker Man. It's a slow build but such a cool story and what an ending. It's probably my favorite folk horror of all time. I wish more people talked about The Dark And The Wicked. I think it's such a cool movie that really flies under the radar. High Tension was nuts at the end but I loved it. I think you'll really like The Voices. It's such a different role for Ryan Reynolds but he's still himself, if that makes sense. Super dark with some comedic tones but definitely solid. Thanks so much for watching and enjoy whatever you decide to watch. 👋👋🎃

Great collection of movies to watch. If it's on the Universal Monsters box set, check out the 1931 Spanish remake of Dracula with different actors but they used the same set as the Lugosi movie. The Lugosi one was filmed by day and the Spanish one then filmed over night - it's worth a watch.

In shocking news, I’ve actually seen one of your single film recommendations: The Mist. Train to Busan is a title I’ve heard so many people talk about and I need to check it out. The Universal Monsters films are fantastic and so fun! Frankenstein and The Invisible Man are my two favorites. And I am really enjoying working my way through my Hitchcock films. Great video Stephanie! As someone who knows very little about the horror genre, this was a fun video to watch for some recommendations.

The Mist is such a cool film. I'm really curious about how it's going to look in B&W. I was really shocked they they included a black and white option because I've never seen that before for that titles. Universal Monsters are a must have for any Halloween watching. I get into the set every year without fail. I have a renewed interest in Hitchcock since we started talking about it on the stream. Now I have a list that I need to rewatch. I had ordered the Studio Canal Steelbook before I saw the release for the cool boxset. I did see my friend Nathan Jones unbox his today and it looks amazing. I also have the Imprint set so as much as I'd love to grab the box, it's just too much at the moment. But I'm happy to have the Steelbook with the 4K and other discs. That set is awfully nice though. Hi Stephanie! Love your lists. I always take notes. I love Ginger Snaps, but GS 2 and 3, ehhhh, not so great. I bought all three last year, 2&3 are dvd versions. First one was awesome. I have Byzantium and it is great. Found it a long time ago, as I am a Gemma A fan. I will check out Houses October Built. Bone Tomahawk and Brawl in Cellblock 99 very brutal violence; sometimes a little too much to watch. I am happy to say I have a good chunk of the films you recommended, so I will be busy watching this October. My copy of Talk to Me came in on 10/3, and I also ordered The Boogeyman based on Stephen King’s short story by the same name. Thank you for the awesome content, and your shirt is hilarious!😂

It was definitely a nice change from the same old formulaic horror that we've been getting. I think we've been getting some good ones they last two years with X, Pearl, and now, Talk To Me. I did want it to be a little longer to get a bit more information but I'm hoping they make another one that might expand on the story. Thanks so much for watching. 🎃🎃
