JJ definitely finessed that argument with composure and well timed respectful interjections. He showed people how to control a debate against SAS without getting loud, over excited or emotionally involved. See the low tone he used and saying SAS name to take over when he was ready to rebut. Smoothly done. I think I know what SAS was saying but at times seemed like he didn't have a clear articulation if what he was attempting to convey. At least JJ made it look that way. Like, "What do you mean?"
@cashmerej9665
@cashmerej9665 2 жыл бұрын
No, JJ speaks the truth and there is no take that can stop that. Only idiots believe the nonsense that come out of people mouths negative about what LeBron is about, does and so on. LeBron is the greatest NBA player ever. Proof? LeBron beat a 73 win team and the next year the league allowed a MVP, most efficient 7 foot shooter in the NBA to join that team to stop LeBron from passing MJ regularly. The league stopped LeBron from winning 2 DPOY awards in 2012 and 2013. All the league and jomo writers have done was to protect Jordan's legacy. You don't believe me? They stopped CP3 from joining Kobe, but allowed KD to join the Warriors. Since 1990, go look at the ALL DEFENSIVE TEAMS and see who were the only player to lose to a 2nd team player. Those were the years they were supposed to win. Everything that LeBron was supposed to do, he was stopped by the league and its writers to protect Jordan's legacy. LeBron is truly the PHONY Goat, why? The writers and the league made sure he would be because of all the fact lies they tell to promote it. Here is the greatest one " LeBron passed Jordan in scoring because he played more games". NOT TRUE! He passed Jordan in scoring taking 1,200 less shots you stupid idiots. He passed Kobe taking 2,000 less shots.

@@cashmerej9665 The agreed that both were respected. They disagreed about whether they were both feared. That is a matter of opinion based on perspective. Not a true or false thing that could be proven. That's what they are talking about. But I wasn't responding to that. I was responding to I how JJ didn't resort to loud as or be aggressive argumentive tactics to get his point of across. I'm just clarifying because you responded to my comment and it seems as if you either disagree be with me or think I'm disagreeing with one of them. With that said, your assessment is a good argument for your point but isn't in line with what they were debating which is IF Lebron is a feared as Jordan by other players. And to be clear, I don't think SAS clarified well enough in what manner he meant. If I were to guess, I would think he didn't just mean it in the context of winning a game or championship. I think it includes the feeling of how opponents who faced Jordan thought about how they may or may not perform as well as being dominated by Jordan.

 @Ty Taylor The league was full of players that the league had no choice to chose because teams needed players. Players in the G-League this era are much better than most of the starters of the 80's and 90's. LeBron started his his NBA career against Super Teams new and being formed. Most of the teams that are doing well are the Super Teams. The Warriors and the Suns. Like I told most every newhead to basketball that Superteams are made when teams draft Lottery players 3-5 times in a row. Do your research and you will see what I speak. LeBron, being the GREATEST PLAYER EVER never was able to Draft 3-5 times in a row because he is that great. To this day, LeBron is the only player in NBA History that Never had his team in the LOTTERY!!! He has played 19 years and these idiots don't understand. Even when he lost so-called great players, his team never hit Lottery like Steph, Jordan, Kobe, Durant, Embid, Shaq and Magic. LeBron is also THe only player to MAKE THE FINALS w/o having a great coach, system, Rebound Champ, DPOY, ALL NBA player, 6th MOY, All Star or HOF on his 50 win team. PLEASE!

That 90s team came close but acting as if Jordan is the only reason they didn’t have a title while he was in the league is ignorant. I think LeBron is feared by players today most especially when it comes to playoffs, Their worst nightmare is facing Lebron, remember Paul Milsap when he was in Atlanta and went to a western conference team, He decided to go to another team because he doesn't want to face Lebron in the playoffs. I just want to say that bron is feared because every team he went to is becoming great because he is in the team and I think 8 years straight in making the finals is basically a threat to other players. He's in a tough spot because he can't say certain things on air, but generally he's right in what he's saying but JJ is also right. We hear about the slights from other players more because of the times we live in now, in the 80s or 90s if someone dissed MJ it probably was never heard, but there's never a time when someone is universally liked or respected or feared, that just doesn't exist. SAS should have kept it to basketball though, because on the court you can point to instances whereby LeBron lost to much less talented teams in the playoffs and how that gave everybody confidence that he wasn't unstoppable even if he assembled a super team. Whereas with MJ, once they got past the Pistons and with every new ring it was like - we can't beat this guy.

Just mjs actions and his demeanor on and off the court was fearful to alot of other players. Mj was just out there ripping peoples souls out. @@TheRoddie16 I'm not really talking about what lebron has or doesn't. I'm saying what mj has. And thats why mj was feared. I believe what lebron lacks like killer instinct, wanting the last shot, trying to play shutdown defense, taking games off for rest is what actually separates him from being the "greatest ". The only time lebron try s to get people to fear him is when he dunks and stares at them. Like that was his first dunk in the nba

This is something I've said about SAS for years. The dude never makes any points he just uses extremely abstract concepts and vague language to keep his points ambiguous so he can easily distance himself from one side of the argument or another. As soon as you make him elaborate he does what he did with JJ, he's talking without saying anything.
