The chiefs lost because they have big heads. 2 times in red zone. Instead of just getting points they wanted to play clock ball. 5 seconds just kick the field goal. Then in overtime you don't have to throw a bomb on the first play.

That defense was WAY BETTER than advertised coming into the playoffs.

The defense carried them through the Playoffs not Joe Burrow. They have 5 Offensive TDs in 3 Playoff games. Held raiders to 19 points, Titans to 16 and got 4 Ints, and Chiefs to 24 and the Chiefs got 21 of those from their first 3 drives then shut down. Defense is the reason the bengals are in the Superbowl.

Yes, but remember that the Chiefs missed out on 10 possible points. At the end of the half, they had a golden opportunity to score a touchdown to make the score 28-3. Worst case scenario should have been they kick a FG to end the half 24-3. Chiefs got too cute/fancy and failed to score any points, when they should have punched it in for 7(the short toss to the side, was a bad play, maybe if the Chiefs had a good running game they could ran the ball in the endzone?)! I believe in the 3rd quarter, the Chiefs missed a 54 yard FG. In the playoffs, if your kicker has the leg and accuracy, he has to be able to put that between the uprights! Bengals made the big plays when they needed to, but the Chiefs got complacent and made some bad mistakes on 2 plays that ultimately cost them the game.

Totally agree, and I've seen this all year. Hey I know refs miss calls on all teams, but it is uncanny how many calls they miss on the Chiefs, especially when they play at home. Maybe if they had a secure tunnel out of the stadium to their cars they would start to "see" those fouls?

I believe this umpiring crew threw the least flags during the season so no surprise they let them play. There are always a handful of calls that we can question but I don't think either team gained a significant advantage from the officiating.

As a Bengals fan, it’s somewhat frustrating over this season to not see them get the credit they deserve even when they win well. Considering the margin of the comeback and the quality of team KC has been over the years, the “Did Cincy win it or did KC lose it” question is a viable question here, and while given the halftime adjustments made and the defense coming up huge when they needed to, I’m in the “Cincy won it” crowd, but the Chiefs also made some serious mistakes and should take a decent chunk of blame in the loss.

Chiefs didn't collapse, Cincy changed from zone to more man coverage and, as usual, the Chiefs didn't adjust.

First comment I agree with💯 Cheifs did collapse for sure but the bengals obviously had to make plays on they’re end to win so great job to them but for anyone to say that the cheifs and mahomes didn’t play incredibly terrible to help give the bengals that boost to win the game is lying. And a lot of terrible coaching calls from KC to like cmon, but playing bad football does cost games and mahomes and that coaching staff did just that, but bengals did battle and win when it’s all said and done

Not just twice in a month, but in the exact same fashion both times by being down 2+ scores at the half, changing their defensive scheme (also in the same fashion) and holding KC to three points in the second half. Yet people are blaming the Chiefs collapsing, lol. The fact is that KC was outcoached. Tough to realize for an Andy Reid team, but they were outcoached. Period. Also, they didn't just change to man coverage, they dropped 8 into coverage nearly 50% of the time in the second half, leaving Hubbard to spy. After scrambling around with nowhere to go with the pass, Hendrickson would likely be loose and Hubbard coming in from the opposite side forcing Mahomes into a sack or an inaccurate pass.

He had a clean pocket, and guys WIDE OPEN in the endzone on that 3rd down play! Yet, he refused to throw the ball! This almost makes me wonder if they lost on purpose.

Bengals D should get a lot of cred for sure! but the Chiefs have had their D choked out a lot (TB superbowl) being one recently and we've seen Mahome boy's back yard antics fail more and more as the years roll on. Burrow and Allen seem to have the right combo of being calm in the pocket, tossing the ball away on broken plays, but also can run when needed. Mahome boy keeps looking for that highlight reel.. well he's got a few now.. of him throwing interceptions.
