Gen-X Cowboys fanatic here. I think I have you beat. I started as a Cowboys fan with Roger Staubach Captain America and Randy White & Doomsday Defense through Danny White and "The Catch" to "The Triplets" and 3 more rings. So, I got spoiled into thinking that the Cowboys were eventually going to be great again. Only to endure the embarrassing Quincy Carter and Dave Campo, etc. years. Then the hope of Romo and now Dak. So, my disgust is real.

We really are. Especially the younger generation. I’m 29 and never got to experience them win a Super Bowl or make a championship game for that matter and still come back for more heartbreak every year 🤣 like yeah we definitely can be rough on our guys but we as fans take the most heat when our team loses than any other fan base and we get sick of it year after year so we demand results immediately but when you put everything into perspective they really are a good team they just need to figure out how to get over that mental hurdle in the playoffs because the criticism for this franchise that was originally built on championships will never go away if they don’t win

It’s annoying he’s a great player but cowboys fans think we’ll somehow have the first overall pick the following year if we drop him and somehow get a Mahomes, Brady or Montana if he’s gone like no we’re just gonna repeat the same cycle and probably worse. They hate him at the end of the season love him halfway into the next then beg for him to be dropped every year, no wonder everyone hates us.

12:00 I have been saying this to people for YEARS that's THIS is what's wrong with the Cowboys. It's the pressure of being the Cowboys. And you know where all that pressure comes from? JERRY JONES, stirring up the fan base and media for relevancy and revenue over all these years, because the ONLY reason the Cowboys have been covered the way they are year in and year out, despite their record or performance, is because they are the most lucrative team in the NFL with the largest fan base. Jerry is a genius for what he's done with this team's prestige. But, SAS is right. I know a bunch of Cowboy fans. Some kind of hot shit to talk, even if they win by 1 point in the first game of the season. "Super Bowl!" Non stop bragging. Disappearing when they can't stand on the pedestal they built. Year after year, failure after failure, hubris after hubris, this builds. The fan base is the enemy in the mirror. I also love the franchise and players, but the fans KILL me. And they kill themselves.

Lead the league in pressures and finished with 14 sacks even had Trent Williams saying he was stronger this year then before. Micah’s great and our d line was hurt all year like we had a safety playing linebacker. Don’t sleep on Micah he’s not at fault when a coach won’t adjust the defense at halftime.

Stephen A is right, though. Dak can be and is that great role model, that nice guy at the podium, but on that field, he needs to put a fire under some of their asses and so does Micah. Somebody has to step up and be that dude on the side line and not just a hype machine. When the game is on the line, there's no more, Mr. Nice guy. But do it all with love. There's a difference.
