Best-selling author and secular Buddhist teacher Stephen Batchelor joined One Mindful Breath’s weekly meeting from his home in southwest France online and gave a talk on ‘Nirvana, McMindfulness and Ethics’.
In his talk, he offered some thoughts on the nationalist ethics of Burmese and Sri Lankan monks, as well as the recent articles that reduce commercially-taught mindfulness programmes to an offering of ‘McMindfulness’, relating these to an understanding of Buddhist ethics.
Please enjoy his talk, and remember to Like and Subscribe for more talks by secular dharma practitioners and teachers.
