As professional musicians, my best friend and I both played this as the first song every time we worked for over 20 years. It was just our “thing”. I read so many of your comments below and just cried reading them... Yes I am 58 and remember this beuatiful amazing love song... Brings back great memories.... As hard as it is sometimes we have no other choice but to change with the times... Nothing is ever permanent in life, life is always changing and forcing us to change with it. That is why its very important to love the friends and family in your life today and enjoy the present moment because one day it will all be a distant memory... Many people wait until its to late and then regrette not spending enough time with the people they love etc... I have lost allot of beautiful people in my life, many died or made their transitions very early in life... Today i don't waste a bloody minute not being grateful for every waking moment i have here. Life is truly a gift, your close fiends and family are also gifts, don't waste another bloody second of it, embrace them and keep them close and live life to the fullest and in the present moment because today, will also eventually be a yesteryear... ❤

This song came out in 1983, I never knew the artist. I was a teen then. The character Spinelli sang this at the Nurses Ball in 2016 or 2017 on GH. The actor did a great job.

Had a dear sweet college friend introduce me to Stephen. He was great, but she was better. Unfortunately, we never got together and married other folks and went our own separate ways. About 20 years later we reconnected, she married, me divorced, but we kept up our friendship. Then she had a series of cancers and eventually succumbed. But she was literally the best there ever was....

These songs can give you a heart attack. It takes my breath away, I get anxious and run to my back yard to breath some fresh air. These songs bring back all those beautiful moments that I lived when I was young. Too bad life is only a breeze, a gentle flower that soon dies.
